  1. VAR

Video Assistant Refereepublished at 15:33 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

I think the former Liverpool man is onside here.

  2. 'Poor defending by Sunderland'published at 15:33 GMT 4 January

    Tottenham 1-0 Sunderland

    Curtis Davies
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

We spoke about the important of set pieces and how these have been Spurs' best chances.

Nobody makes the extra run to go and get out to Cristian Romero. It's really poor defending.

  3. Postpublished at 15:32 GMT 4 January

    Everton 0-1 Brentford

Everton's Vitalii Mykolenko swings in a cross from the left which finds Thierno Barry, whose header is straight at Caoimhin Kelleher.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:32 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

Harry Wilson wheels away in celebration after being played in by Raul Jimenez. He takes a touch and drills into the far bottom corner.

This is very, very close. VAR is having a good look.

  5. Postpublished at 15:32 GMT 4 January

    Everton 0-1 Brentford

Kristoffer Ajer is OK. He's got a load of black tape around the top of his head now. Four-minute delay for that.

Everyone complains when a decision goes against them, but the reality of VAR, when it is correctly used of course, is that you are either offside or not. Doesn’t really matter if it’s millimetres or yards - if it’s off, it’s off. There’s no point whinging about it.

    Tattz, Harborne

In response to Mike at 15:25. If it's offside, it's offside. It's objective, not subjective. Hope that helps.

  7. Postpublished at 15:31 GMT 4 January

    Everton 0-1 Brentford

Brentford's Kristoffer Ajer is still down getting treatment on his head injury. He's sitting up and chatting away so hopefully it's nothing too bad.

  8. Postpublished at 15:30 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

A rare break forward for Fulham. Sasa Lukic whips in a ball from the right and Conor Bradley chests behind for a corner.

  9. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Sunderlandpublished at 15:30 GMT 4 January

    Ben Davies (32 mins)

    Finally Tottenham make the breakthrough!

A corner is picked up by Cristian Romero on the far side of the box and he finds Micky van de Ven, whose goalbound shot is turned in from close range by Ben Davies.

  10. 'Too many Liverpool players coming towards the ball'published at 15:30 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea and Fulham goalkeeper on 5 Live at Craven Cottage

Sometimes with Liverpool you feel that there are too many players coming towards the ball. Wirtz, Szobozslai, Gakpo... Kerkez is really far out wide and there is 40-50 yards between him and the next Liverpool player. There are not enough players out wide.

Offside should be done by feet only. Wissa’s only advantage there is being on the front foot.

  12. Postpublished at 15:29 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

Not really sure what Fulham are trying to do here. It's very passive from the hosts as Liverpool tries to break them down.

  13. Postpublished at 15:28 GMT 4 January

    Newcastle 0-0 Crystal Palace

Newcastle aren't exactly knocking down Crystal Palace's door right now but they are on the front foot.

Brennan Johnson, making his Palace debut following a £35m move from Spurs, has barely had a sniff so far.

  14. Postpublished at 15:28 GMT 4 January

    Everton 0-1 Brentford

There's a clash of heads between Kristoffer Ajer and Michael Keane from the corner. Ajer's header went over the bar before the referee blew his whistle.

  15. Fulham get away with onepublished at 15:28 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

    Aadam Patel
    Football Reporter at Craven Cottage

That was a real opening for Cody Gakpo. The run is terrific but he scuffs his strike. But it's the first sign of Liverpool breaking through the lines. Fulham get away with one.

  16. Postpublished at 15:28 GMT 4 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Sunderland

No attempts on goal yet from Sunderland with Tottenham the dominant side so far, just lacking the cutting edge in the final third.

  17. 'Fulham need to make up numbers in midfield'published at 15:27 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea and Fulham goalkeeper on 5 Live at Craven Cottage

When Fulham do have balls doing into midfield, one of the centre halves or wide players need to come in. Liverpool have players dropping short a lot so Fulham need to look to make up the numbers.

  18. 'Better from Spurs'published at 15:27 GMT 4 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Sunderland

    Curtis Davies
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

It's a really quick kick taken and Richarlison bends his run.

When Mathys Tel cuts inside there's only one thing on his mind. It was always going to the right-hand side of the post. Better attacking impetus from Tottenham.

  19. Postpublished at 15:27 GMT 4 January

    Everton 0-1 Brentford

Brentford striker Igor Thiago is a livewire, even though he didn't score a goal in December.

He beats Michael Keane twice as he runs onto a long ball but sees his shot blocked by Vitalii Mykolenko.

  20. Postpublished at 15:27 GMT 4 January

    Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

It's a poor effort in fairness from Cody Gakpo. He should be making the goalkeeper work from there.
