So, what will it be today?

    3-4-3? 3-4-2-1? 4-3-3? 4-4-2?

It's hard to know with Manchester United these days.

Leeds skipper Ethan Ampadu misses out through suspension but in-form striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns for Daniel Farke’s side.

Noah Okafor is also included for the home side, with Lukas Nmecha dropping to the bench.

Leeds are looking for their first Premier League victory against today’s opponents since September 2002.

Leeds United XI: Lucas Perri, Bornauw, Bijol, Struijk, Justin, Stach, Gruev, Okafor, Gudmundsson, Aaronson, Calvert-Lewin.

Substitutes: Darlow, Longstaff, Piroe, Nmecha, Harrison, Tanaka, Byram, Gnonto, Chambers.

Leny Yoro replaces Joshua Zirkzee in the Manchester United starting line-up. Replaced at half-time against Wolves despite scoring, Zirkzee drops to the bench where 17-year-old Godwill Kukonki replaces Chido Obi.

Patrick Dorgu seems set for a third different starting position in as many games, potentially in one of the number 10 roles.

Manchester United XI: Lammens, Heaven, Yoro, Martinez, Shaw, Dalot, Ugarte, Casemiro, Dorgu, Cunha, Sesko.

Substitutes: Bayindir, Zirkzee, Malacia, Fredricson, J Fletcher, T Fletcher, Lacey, Mantato, Kukonki.

Leeds United v Manchester United (12.30pm)

It doesn't rain but it pours for Ruben Amorim.

With three players away at the Africa Cup of Nations, the Red Devils' problems were compounded by injury to captain Bruno Fernandes.

The Portuguese joins Kobbie Mainoo, Mathijs De Ligt, Harry Maguire and Mason Mount on the injury table.

Speaking on Tuesday, Amorim suggested he will have the same squad at his disposal as he did for the 1-1 draw against Wolves.

“We’re going to see tomorrow, we have one more training. I don’t think that anyone is going to recover, but we'll see," said Amorim.

  5. Leeds without Ampadupublished at 11:07 GMT 4 January

Leeds United v Manchester United (12.30pm)

If Leeds are to get a result today, they'll have to do so without captain Ethan Ampadu.

The Welshman picked up a yellow card - his fifth of the season - during the 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Anfield last time out and he'll serve a one-match suspension today.

Manager Farke said it will be 'difficult' to replace the former Chelsea man but his side will find 'solutions.
