  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:37 BST 25 October 2025

    Bristol City 1-0 Birmingham

Gerhard Struber makes another change for Bristol City, opting to remove goal scorer Sinclair Armstrong for fresh legs.

He brings on Fally Mayulu as his replacement.

Birmingham bring on Lyndon Dykes for Tommy Doyle.

City fans will be hoping for a repeat of their match against Swansea last month when Dykes won it with a late strike in the 94th minute.

    Ryan Alebiosu (76 mins)

They only have themselves to blame... Saints should be out of sight.

We'll have to find out later if he meant it, I doubt it somehow, but full-back Ryan Alebiosu has cut inside on the right flank and curled in a cross with his left foot which evades everyone, beats Alex McCarthy and finds the net for his first Rovers goal.

The home fans, who have been chanting about the owners and giving Valerien Ismael some stick too for his subs, have finally got something to cheer.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:37 BST 25 October 2025

    Derby 1-0 QPR

The woodwork is leading a charmed life at Pride Park.

If Derby don't win this John Eustace will have kittens.

Nathan Elder's fine cross is nodded on by Matt Clarke but Ben Brereton-Diaz's header comes back off the face of the post.

  5. CLOSE!published at 16:35 BST 25 October 2025

    Bristol City 1-0 Birmingham

Birmingham go close to getting an equaliser!

The ball is whipped into the box by Lewis Koumas and Demarai Gray gets onto the end of it but flicks the effort just overt the crossbar.

Hearts in mouths at Ashton Gate.

  6. 'In spells Leicester have look decent'published at 16:34 BST 25 October 2025

    Millwall 1-0 Leicester

    Paul Mortimer
Former Charlton midfielder on BBC Radio London

In spells Leicester have look decent, this is a real head scratcher.

The timing of the goal before half-time really hasn't helped them. It has been difficult for their attacking players in this game.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:32 BST 25 October 2025

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Wrexham

A huge wake-up call for Boro as the unmarked Kieffer Moore gets on the end of Lewis O'Brien's curling cross at the back post but can only plant his close-range header straight into the crossbar and it sails over.

Someone with his aerial prowess should have put the game to bed there. Will the miss come back to haunt Phil Parkinson's men?

  8. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:30 BST 25 October 2025

    Hull 1-0 Charlton

Hull City captain Lewie Coyle returns to the fray after spending their last match on the bench.

He replaces Cody Drameh, while Matt Crooks makes way for Liam Millar.

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Wrexham

    Barry Horne
Former Wales and Wrexham midfielder on BBC Radio Wales

Wrexham keep giving the ball back to Middlesbrough.

Wrexham have hardly been a threat at all in this half.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:29 BST 25 October 2025

    Blackburn 0-1 Southampton

Another chance at the other end, and another one-on-one, and another miss...

Finn Azaz plays Adam Armstrong through on goal AGAIN but Balazs Toth gets just enough on his effort with his legs to turn the ball onto the base of the post.

It could be 5-5 but it remains 0-1.

    Zan Vipotnik (69 mins)

    It's that man Zan, again!

Zan Vipotnik gets his second of the match and sixth for the season. He picks the ball up from Ji-Sung Eom around 25 yards out from the Norwich goal and absolutely puts his laces through it.

The pressure is right back onto Norwich now, can they find a way back into this?

  12. Postpublished at 16:27 BST 25 October 2025

    Swansea 1-1 Norwich

Norwich get their first yellow card of the match as Pelle Mattsson goes into Adam Herczeg's book.

  13. CLOSE!published at 16:27 BST 25 October 2025

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Wrexham

Better from Boro as Hayden Hackney feeds sub Tommy Conway who can only bend a shot too close to Arthur Okonkwo.

Kaly Sene has also had a chance from a header but got his connection wrong and glanced across the face of goal.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:26 BST 25 October 2025

    Blackburn 0-1 Southampton

Another big chance goes begging for Rovers as Taylor Gardner-Hickman slides Yuki Ohashi through into the area but once again Alex McCarthy comes to the rescue for the Saints with a big save.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:25 BST 25 October 2025

    Derby 1-0 QPR

The impressive Max Johnston comes within inches of a second for the Rams as the Scotland international whips in a free-kick from a tight angle which glances off Paul Nardi's crossbar and away from danger.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:24 BST 25 October 2025

    Millwall 1-0 Leicester

Switches from the bench from Leicester boss Marti Cifuentes.

Silko-Amari Thomas and Wout Faes are on in place of Jeremy Monga and Luke Thomas.

Millwall's xG is 1.33, Leicester's... a mere 0.44. They need to find something.

  17. 'All about settling down for Millwall'published at 16:24 BST 25 October 2025

    Millwall 1-0 Leicester

    Paul Mortimer
Former Charlton midfielder on BBC Radio London

Millwall would be far more comfortable if that penalty had gone in earlier.

But are you going to tell me that with time we have left here that Leicester won't have a chance, I doubt that.

It is all about settling down for Millwall and they need to find another goal.

  18. Postpublished at 16:24 BST 25 October 2025

    Bristol City 1-0 Birmingham

Change is needed and Chris Davies is making three of them to try and get Birmingham back in the match.

Top scorer Jay Stansfield, Keshi Anderson, and Patrick Roberts are all taken off and replaced by Kyogo Furuhashi, Demarai Gray, and Lewis Koumas.

  19. Postpublished at 16:22 BST 25 October 2025

    Derby 1-0 QPR

Not much to report from Pride Park since the turnaround.

One nugget which we mentioned pre-match, Derby had a home game on Tuesday night while the Hoops were away at Swansea 24 hours later.

On this showing, it's definitely a factor, as QPR are struggling to get anything going, despite their fine recent form.

  20. Postpublished at 16:22 BST 25 October 2025

    Swansea 1-1 Norwich

Norwich are back at it again!

A quick counter from the visitors ends with Jeffrey Schlupp getting a shot away and forcing a save from the outstretched Lawrence Vigouroux.

A reminder that both of these sides desperately need a win. The heat is turning up.
