    Sheff Wed 1-2 Oxford

    Never write Sheffield Wednesday off.

Svante Ingelsson is on the edge of the box and is hungry for an equaliser.

He's found by Yan Valery and rifles a shot at goal but misses inches to the right.

Excitement building. Can they do it?!

    Barry Horne
Former Wales and Wrexham midfielder on BBC Radio Wales

Middlesbrough have played some great football, as has been the case all afternoon, the Middlesbrough striker's touch has let him down.

Once again, Wrexham are able to recover the ball.

  3. Postpublished at 16:18 BST 25 October 2025

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Wrexham

The four changes have shaken Boro up a bit, but they are still struggling to apply any concerted pressure or create chances.

Bad day at the office so far.

  4. 'Architects of their own downfall'published at 16:17 BST 25 October 2025

    Millwall 1-0 Leicester

    Matty Fryatt
Former Leicester City striker on Radio Leicester

Leicester are architects of their own downfall at this point.

That moment, that save could be massive - Jakub Stolarczyk went early and made a great save.

  5. Postpublished at 16:16 BST 25 October 2025

    Swansea 1-1 Norwich

Swansea have an effort blocked once again as Ji-Sung Eom cuts inside the box and shoots.

Alan Sheehan's side will need something soon or else the fans will begin to get very restless.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:15 BST 25 October 2025

    Blackburn 0-1 Southampton

    Some game, this.

Former Rover Adam Armstrong is played clean through on goal, only to be denied by a fine save from Balazs Toth while soon after Scott Wharton produces a vital block to deny Mads Roerslev.

How this is still only 1-0 I have no idea. Could be five goals already.

At the other end Alex McCarthy had to turn a goalbound deflection from teammate She Charles round the post from a Dion De Neve cross.

  7. PENALTY SAVEDpublished at 16:15 BST 25 October 2025

    Millwall 1-0 Leicester

    WHAT A SAVE!

Mihailo Ivanovic aims for the corner but Foxes keeper Jakub Stolarczyk denies a conversion. BIG moment.

  8. Postpublished at 16:13 BST 25 October 2025

    Bristol City 1-0 Birmingham

There's an early second half chance for Bristol City as Scott Twine fires wide of the Birmingham post.

It was a tight angle but worth the effort.

  9. PENALTY TO MILLWALLpublished at 16:13 BST 25 October 2025

    Millwall 1-0 Leicester

Things could be getting worse for Leicester as Harry Winks concedes a penalty.

    Is the comeback on?

Oxford lose the ball in the box and Sean Fusire pounces to drill it low into corner.

    That's got Hillsborough rocking again.

  11. CLOSE!published at 16:12 BST 25 October 2025

    Blackburn 0-1 Southampton

Ronnie Edwards has seen a goal correctly ruled out for offside for Saints, but Blackburn should really be level.

Yuki Ohashi prodded goalwards from a Dion De Neve cross, only to be denied by a point-blank save from keeper Alex McCarthy while his Japan teammate Ryoya Morishita was played clean through on McCarthy's goal soon after, only to fire wide of the post.

    Big let-off for Saints.

  12. 'Doesn't look good for Ramsey'published at 16:10 BST 25 October 2025

    Millwall 1-0 Leicester

    Matty Fryatt
Former Leicester City striker on Radio Leicester

That doesn't look good, which is surprising as there didn't look too much in it.

It looks like he has jarred his knee into the ground, and with his previous knee injuries this really doesn't look good for Aaron Ramsey.

The only positive is he managed to walk off the pitch.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:10 BST 25 October 2025

    Millwall 1-0 Leicester

    Not good for Leicester.

They are down on the score line and now they lose Aaron Ramsey to injury. He's been very involved this afternoon but he's not the most fortunate when it comes to time on the side lines.

    Julian Carranza is the replacement.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:09 BST 25 October 2025

    Bristol City 1-0 Birmingham

Gerhard Struber makes a single change for the second half bringing off wing-back Ross McCrorie and replacing him with Mark Sykes.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:08 BST 25 October 2025

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Wrexham

FOUR changes for Boro at the break.

Rob Edwards was not impressed with that half.

Luke Ayling, Tommy Conway, Sammy Silvera and Alan Browne are on for Sverre Nypan, Matt Targett, Delano Burgzorg and Morgan Whittaker.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:07 BST 25 October 2025

    Swansea 1-1 Norwich

There's two substitutions for the away side as Mirko Topic and Oscar Schwartau are replaced by Jacob Wright and Jeffrey Schlupp.

  17. goal

GOAL: Hull 1-0 Charltonpublished at 16:05 BST 25 October 2025

    Joe Gelhardt (46 mins)

    DEADLOCK BROKEN!

Macaulay Gillesphey makes a fumble at the back and Joe Gelhardt takes full advantage as he thrashes the ball into the corner for an opener.

The first-half didn't have a lot to shout about but this should change things.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:02 BST 25 October 2025

    #bbcefl

We'll have a bit of a staggered start to the second half up, down and across the land, given the various amounts of injury-time at the end of the first 45 minutes, but we're getting under way in dribs and drabs from... NOW!

So Oxford take a two-goal lead into the break and they are good value for it.

Owls goalkeeper Joe Lumley has been far busier as the U's sense three points are theirs for the taking.

Wednesday have managed one goal in six-and-a-half home games this season. The odds on them salvaging something here are not looking good.
