    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

We are having a VAR check here. Looked well on side to me...

  2. 'Class from Rogers'published at 21:25 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

    Martin Keown
Former Aston Villa defender on TNT Sports

It's absolute quality and class from Morgan Rogers. It's beautiful, really good technique.

Aston Villa are right back in this.

    Back in it!

It's lovely play from Villa in the attacking third. Morgan Rogers plays a little one-two with Emi Buendia and drives his finish into the near post.

    What a player.

  4. 'Great movement' from Yusufpublished at 21:23 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ferencvaros

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports at the City Ground

Unlucky. It is great movement to get himself free in the box. Neco Williams reacted a little too late.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:23 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ferencvaros

    Ferencvaros hit the bar!

Nearly one back for the visitors as Bamidele Yusuf meets the cross from the left.

Matz Sels is well beaten but the header bounces back off the crossbar.

  6. Postpublished at 21:22 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ferencvaros

Nearly a fourth in a bizarre manner for Nottingham Forest.

A Ferencvaros defender tries to hook the ball clear but thumps it straight into Dan Ndoye and the ball flies back towards goal.

No problem for the goalkeeper this time, though.

  7. 'Let-off for Villa'published at 21:22 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 0-2 RB Salzburg

    Martin Keown
Former Aston Villa defender on TNT Sports

Sota Kitano's really unlucky. He showed really good composure. Again, it's good play by RB Salzburg.

He turns really nicely and he should be hitting the target.

A bit of a let-off for Aston Villa.

  8. 'Jesus is on fire'published at 21:21 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ferencvaros

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports at the City Ground

Igor Jesus can finish. You know if you get Jesus in front of the goal for Forest, he will put the ball in the back of the net. That is an absolute gift, the space in-behind. He is absolutely on fire, Jesus. He times his run very, very well.

  9. Around the grounds - Young Boys back in play-off battlepublished at 21:21 GMT 29 January

Sandro Lauper scores their second goaImage source, Reuters

My oh my, what a strike!

That is easily the goal of the night but could well be a future Puskas award contender too from centre half Sandro Lauper.

He volleys a corner in from about 25 yards out to bring Young Boys level in Stuttgart.

From 2-0 down they are back in the fight for the play-offs. One more goal and they will go above the dotted line.

  10. Postpublished at 21:20 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ferencvaros

No Nottingham Forest player has ever scored a hat-trick in a major European competition. Igor Jesus has a little over half an hour to try and change that.

  11. CLOSE!published at 21:20 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 0-2 RB Salzburg

Sota Kitano drifts into a yard of space in the box. He turns really well but drags his effort wide of the far post.

  12. Postpublished at 21:19 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 0-2 RB Salzburg

Lucas Digne's floated free-kick meets the head of Amadou Onana but he's got a case of the old 50p head there.

  13. Postpublished at 21:18 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 0-2 RB Salzburg

Lamare Bogarde is bundled over on the edge of the box. Chance for Lucas Digne to send one into the mixer.

  14. Postpublished at 21:17 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 0-2 RB Salzburg

There seems to be more energy about Villa now with Matty Cash getting up and down that right side.

Harvey Elliott is seeing more of the ball as they look to halve the deficit.

    Game over.

Superb from Igor Jesus to get his second of the night.

Ibrahim Sangare clips the ball over the top, the Forest striker times his run in behind to perfection, holds off the defender then thumps the bouncing ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

    Lovely goal.

  16. 'Better from Villa'published at 21:16 GMT 29 January

That is better from Aston Villa. The crowd has been lifted.

Emi Buendia is not really balanced there as he's trying to get a shot off as quick as he can.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:16 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 2-0 Ferencvaros

Off the post again for Forest!

It's a flicked header from Nicolás Domínguez as the goalkeeper comes flapping out at another ball into the middle, this time a clever little dink from James McAtee.

The ball comes back off the base of the post and is cleared behind for a corner.

  18. Around the grounds - Midtjylland up to secondpublished at 21:16 GMT 29 January

Danish outfit FC Midtjylland have broken the deadlock against Dinamo Zagreb.

The side that have scored the most goals from set pieces (9) in this season's Europa League have in fact gone ahead from open play - it was a delightful little lob from forward Cho Gue-Sung.

That's taken them from fourth to second, pushing Freiburg to third and Aston Villa to fourth.

  19. Postpublished at 21:15 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 2-0 Ferencvaros

Plenty of neat, short passing from Ferencvaros but it's a long ball from the goalkeeper that sets up their best opening of the half.

It's flicked on by Lenny Joseph and Bamidele Yusuf gets into the box, backheels it into the path Joseph on the overlap but the low ball across doesn't find a black shirt.

It's only what Salzburg deserve. Villa have been lackadaisical, the tempo and desire has been missing.

They have already reached the last 16 and you can tell which team's European hopes hang on this game.
