    We're level!

It's a wonderful swinging ball in by Matty Cash and there is Tyrone Mings up above everyone else to head beyond Alexander Schlager.

He makes up for his earlier mistake, I guess.

  2. 'Elliott has to hit the target'published at 21:35 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

    Martin Keown
Former Aston Villa defender on TNT Sports

In your career you look at these opportunities, I know it's not on Harvey Elliott's favoured left foot but he's got to hit the target there.

    Dear, oh dear.

Great feet from Lamare Bogarde to win a free-kick. Villa take it quickly and Morgan Rogers' cross is turned behind for a corner.

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ferencvaros

Double change for Ferencvaros with a familiar face entering the fray for the Hungarian side.

It's former Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita, a Premier League and Champions League winner with the Reds during the Jurgen Klopp era.

There was a bit of fuss around getting some black tape to cover his white socks before he was allowed on but all sorted now, it seems.

    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

Tim Trummer absolutely hammers one towards goal but it's straight at Emi Martinez.

  7. CLOSE!published at 21:33 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

The corner is headed to Harvey Elliott just inside the box and he drives a right-footed effort over the top.

A great chance for him to level there.

  8. Postpublished at 21:31 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

Jadon Sancho tries to lift the crowd as Villa win a corner in search of this equaliser.

The home fans can sense it's coming.

  9. 'Different atmosphere at Villa Park now'published at 21:31 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

    Martin Keown
Former Aston Villa defender on TNT Sports

It's a completely different atmosphere here now.

There's a bit of quality in the team and Morgan Rogers is so often the player to bring that quality.

Ryan Yates has been superb for Nottingham Forest tonight and the skipper drives through the midfield again to start another attack for the home side.

  11. As it stands - Roma and Bologna exchange top eight berthpublished at 21:30 GMT 29 January

At the top end, ten-man Roma conceding the opener at Panathinaikos has been very costly indeed.

They have fallen out of the automatic qualification spots for the last 16, with Italian counterparts Bologna, who lead Maccabi Tel Aviv 2-0, reaping the rewards.

  12. 'Too easy for the goalkeeper'published at 21:29 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

    Martin Keown
Former Aston Villa defender on TNT Sports

Roy of the Rovers stuff from Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba, off the bench. He cuts inside and hits it.

It's almost too easy for the goalkeeper, right down his throat.

  13. Perilous play-offspublished at 21:29 GMT 29 January

As mentioned here is the bottom half of the play-off zone.

    So, so tight.

A goal for Young Boys would take them up as high as 20th and cause a domino effect for the rest of the sides in and around them.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:28 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ferencvaros

They'll be no hat-trick for Igor Jesus tonight.

Sean Dyche makes a triple substitution and the striker heads off to a standing ovation with Neco Williams and Ibrahim Sangare also replaced.

On come Callum Hudson-Odi, Ola Aina and Morgan Gibbs-White.

    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter at Villa Park

A really poor goal to concede for Salzburg, caught really short at the back and Alexander Schlager was beaten at his near post.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:27 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 1-2 RB Salzburg

Another Villa change. Emi Buendia makes way for Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba.

The youngster is involved right away and he forces Alexander Schlager to push his powerful strike over the top.

  18. Postpublished at 21:27 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ferencvaros

Nottingham Forest want a penalty as Neco Williams goes down in the box.

Not given and the decision is upheld by VAR. Wasn't the tidiest bit of defending but not quite enough for a penalty.
