    Nottingham Forest 2-0 Ferencvaros

Nice move from Ferencvaros and Matz Sels is forced to tip the ball over the bar from Kristoffer Zachariassen.

It was a looping header that was dipping in but Sels made that look a lot trickier than it appeared.

Again, it's pace that is causing major issues to Aston Villa.

I think Emi Martinez gets to the ball and there's the follow through. I don't think there's anything in that.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:46 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 0-1 RB Salzburg

Villa look nervy at the back and Emi Martinez has to be sharp once again to keep this 1-0.

Edmund Baidoo's pace is causing Villa a lot of problems and he's inches away from latching on to Lucas Digne's weak pass but Martinez gets there first.

    Nottingham Forest 2-0 Ferencvaros

It is not looking good for Ferencvaros at the moment. They've dropped from seventh to 11th and, if results elsewhere, stay as they are, the Hungarians are going to need to win to make the top eight.

Stranger things have happened but, based on what we've seen so far in this first half, not that many...

  8. 'Forest look comfortable'published at 20:44 GMT 29 January

Nottingham Forest look comfortable in Europe. They're an ambitious club with an ambitious owner, and it is about performing in Europe.

Fenerbahce, who were guaranteed at least a play-off spot before kick-off are a goal up at FCSB, who need three points to give themselves a chance of a top-24 spot.

Meanwhile, Malmo are ahead at Genk as they chase their first win in the competition.

And Basel have a huge job on their hands to stay in the competition after falling a goal behind at home to Viktoria Plzen.

  10. Table talk - Villa down to thirdpublished at 20:43 GMT 29 January

Seventeen-year-old Remi Himbert's first goal in senior football has returned Lyon to top spot in the table.

Villa falling behind, coupled with Freiburg drawing at Lille, means Unai Emery's side are now back in third place.

Meanwhile, Porto battling from behind to lead Rangers means that they have broken into the top eight at the expense of Stuttgart.

    Francisco Moura (36 minutes)

    Porto are in front!

It's a calamitous coming together between James Tavernier and Jack Butland, which allows Francisco Moura to finish into an open goal from only a couple of yards out.

The goal moves Porto up to seventh.

A bit of defensive inexperience there from a player trying to recover from injury. Mings won't let himself do that again.

Joane Gadou is the first name in the referee's book. He's taken one for the team there.

  14. Postpublished at 20:40 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 2-0 Ferencvaros

When Ferencvaros are able to get the ball down and play in the Forest half, they have looked a tidy side.

They clearly like to play out from the back and build from there. The issue is that Forest's pressing seems to have come as a complete shock to them.

As soon as a red shirt comes near them, there is almost a moment of panic from the away side.

  16. 'Watkins should've been rested tonight'published at 20:38 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 0-1 RB Salzburg

    Martin Keown
Former Aston Villa defender on TNT Sports

Ollie Watkins signaled to the bench. We know the transfer situation here and that they have to sell. To be with just one striker is not ideal.

In retrospect, he should've been rested tonight.

  17. Postpublished at 20:38 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 0-1 RB Salzburg

Salzburg are having a real go here. Edmund Baidoo pinches the ball in the middle of the pitch and drives into the box but Lamare Bogarde does just enough to make sure he can't get a shot off.

    Aston Villa 0-1 RB Salzburg

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter at Villa Park

Aston Villa have already lost Boubacar Kamara - for the season - and John McGinn and Youri Tielemans for months in January.

Watching Ollie Watkins walk off, having held his hamstring, is another problem for Unai Emery.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:36 GMT 29 January

More bad injury news for Villa as Ollie Watkins is replaced by Morgan Rogers.
