  1. 'We needed that confidence throughout the group'published at 22:08 GMT 29 January

    FT: Nottingham Forest 4-0 Ferencvaros

    Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest captain Ryan Yates, speaking to TNT Sports: "Exactly what was needed.

"We started well on the front foot, this man [Igor Jesus], clinical as ever. It is a good night. A few changes and we just needed that confidence throughout the group.

"Quick turnround in games and we have to recover well. We put on a good display today.

"We have not backed it up, so we need to do that [in the next game].

"We think we can go all the way."

    FT: Porto 3-1 Rangers

It's full-time in Porto and that means Rangers' Europa League campaign has come to an end.

Even though the Gers were out of the competition before tonight's 3-1 defeat to Portuguese giants, the way in which the Scots capitulated after taking a shock, early lead will disappoint manager Danny Rohl.

But there will be no time for Rohl and his players to mourn this underwhelming European campaign as they host Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

    FT: Nottingham Forest 4-0 Ferencvaros

Good win for Forest with Igor Jesus impressing again in this competition, his two goals means he's scored six in six in the Europa League so far.

As for Robbie Keane's Ferencvaros. This was their first loss of the competition but it means they drop from seventh to 12th, just one place ahead of Forest.

It means both sides will be seeded for the play-off round and play the second leg of those ties at home.

  5. 'Jimoh-Alobah's the star of the show'published at 22:01 GMT 29 January

FT: Aston Villa 3-2 RB Salzburg

    Martin Keown
Former Aston Villa defender on TNT Sports

So often the youngsters are not involved, they're on the edge of it. Now, Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba's the star of the show.

    Fantastic.

  6. Around the grounds - Heartbreak for Young Boyspublished at 21:59 GMT 29 January

    FT: Stuttgart 3-2 Young Boys

After battling back from two goals down Young Boys have been sucker punched in stoppage time.

Chema Andrés produced a thumping finish to snatch victory for the hosts and leave the crestfallen Swiss outside of the play-offs.

  7. 'Forest were clinical'published at 21:57 GMT 29 January

    FT: Nottingham Forest 4-0 Ferencvaros

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports at the City Ground

I do think it is a good performance and fringe players were standouts. They were clinical in front of goal. Ferencvaros had their moments, but it was all Forest. As soon as they scored that first goal it was all Forest.

That's that. Nottingham Forest win convincingly. They'll face a play-off for a place in the last 16, as will Ferencvaros.

The Hungarians were in the top eight at the start of the evening but drop out after being well beaten by Sean Dyche's men.

  9. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:54 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 4-0 Ferencvaros

We're into three added minutes at the City Ground.

That penalty was the sixth Forest have been awarded in eight league phase games!

They'll be a force in the last 16.

Bence Otvos, again. He is adamant that he hasn't, but he is pulling Dan Ndoye's shirt.

Brilliant for James McAtee. He has been playing well tonight. You have seen the confidence, and the belief of the player. Look how happy they are for him.

  12. Postpublished at 21:53 GMT 29 January

    Aston Villa 3-2 RB Salzburg

Villa fans must fancy themselves to go deep in this competition, especially because they've got Unai Emery in charge.

He's won four of these and three of them came in a row.

James McAtee calmly sends the goalkeeper the wrong way to score his first Nottingham Forest goal.

He's deserved that with his performance tonight. The left-footer went to his right and even if the keeper had guessed right, it was struck well enough that he likely would not have got to it.

I’m a Palace fan with no real emotion attached to Villa. What an amazing story though and what a composed finish! Take a bow young man and well done, incredible!

What a finish that is from Konstantinos Karetsas. A left-footed curled effort from 20 yards that loops over the Malmo goalkeeper Melker Ellborg.

Genk have come from behind to lead and are now level on points with eighth-placed Roma, who have not long equalised against Panathinaikos.

  16. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:51 GMT 29 January

We're into three minutes of added time at Villa Park.

What a second half this has been!

  17. As it stands - Play-offs taking shapepublished at 21:50 GMT 29 January

Big moves have happened at the bottom in recent minutes.

A goal for already eliminated Sturm Graz at SK Brann means that they are dragging their hosts out of the competition with them.

The beneficiaries of that are Young Boys, who move into 24th. Ludogorets move further up into the play-offs with that goal too.

  18. PENALTY - Forestpublished at 21:50 GMT 29 January

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ferencvaros

Moments after Forest come close to a fourth through James McAtee, they are awarded a penalty.

A bad night for Bence Otvos gets worse, after his own goal in the first half, he gives away the spot kick by dragging Dan Ndoye to the ground.

  19. 'Cultured finish'published at 21:50 GMT 29 January

It comes from Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba's mate off the bench. The other substitution, Kadan Young.

How fitting is that? We thought it might be Harvey Elliott, but it's this man.

It's begging to be tucked in and the composure to put it in. It's a cultured finish.

Go and celebrate with the Holte End. Perfect.

  20. Postpublished at 21:49 GMT 29 January

That goal was straight out of the youth team. Great to see the youngsters getting involved.
