This game is so crucial to Luton, they are really trying to push for a winner now. They know they need it.

In fairness to Northampton they are showing a bit of fight tonight, a point is no good for them either though really.

Northampton are leaving space, with both Kasey Palmer and Emilio Lawrence finding themselves with plenty of the pitch to move around in, but the hosts get blocked out in the box to make it count for nothing.

Luton's pressure is mounting and you think it could be it when Jordan Clark cuts inside to let loose a powerful shot.

However, it's spins high above the net.

Big relief for Northampton. Big let down for the hosts.

Northampton are defiant in keeping the ball inside the lines and they move it across goal, but it's such a surprise that they manage it that none of their players are ready to attack the cross.

It does eventually find it's way to Tyrese Fornah, who tries to strike on the turn but is off-balance and can only watch as it goes wide.

Jack Burroughs makes an impressive, blistering run up from his own half into Luton's final third.

He's largely unopposed but his pass into the box is intercepted to watch all his hard work go to waste.

It's then Luton's turn to take it up the other end until Jordan Clark finds himself blocked out close to the goal.
