There are a lot of injuries at City at the minute, and Stones might be out of contract in the summer too, so someone of his quality, experience and leadership, all the things you want in a centre half. For me it would be no-brainer to get in. If City can get the deal done it would be very tempting.

What a debut that would have been for Max Alleyne. He's first to meet a City corner at the near post but he heads it wide.

Spurs started this game in 13th but a reminder that they have one of the best away records in the Premier League.
