Another great night in the EFL.

Congratulations to Lincoln City, who have been crowned League One champions.

The race for the play-offs is far from done, while in League Two the battle to join Bromley in claiming automatic promotion has got even more interesting with Cambridge United losing to Grimsby, who are now in the play-off spots.

Meanwhile, there is breathing space for Tranmere at the bottom.

Phew! You can catch up with all the news from League One and League Two on our dedicated pages.

  2. 'It is a special night'published at 22:11 BST 21 April

    FT: Doncaster 0-2 Lincoln

    Lincoln City

Lincoln City striker Ben House speaking to BBC Radio Lincoln after his side won the League One title:

"It is a special night, it shows with the fans and how amazing they where, and the community, the whole city - it has been a wild few months. It was great to be apart of it.

"I think that everyone believes in each other and we are all going to run for each other. I think there is a sense of disbelief in the fact no-one thought we would be where we are now. It is just nice to prove people wrong and become champions."

  3. Grimsby grab play-off spotpublished at 22:10 BST 21 April

Just the two matches in League Two but two big results with a bearing on both promotion and relegation.

Grimsby have hauled themselves into seventh place and the final play-off position with a last-gasp winner at Cambridge.

And with two games to go they have their destiny in their own hands with a two-point cushion over Chesterfield in eighth.

Defeated and deflated Cambridge remain just a point ahead of Salford in the final automatic promotion place with two games in the locker.

It is still in their hands but nerves are fraying.

At the bottom, Tranmere have given themselves clear breathing space after pulling four points off the relegation spots with only their second win in 20 league outings at Cheltenham.

  4. 'Two teams who gave everything'published at 22:05 BST 21 April

    FT: Bradford 1-1 Plymouth

    Hasney Aljofree
Former Plymouth Argyle defender on BBC Radio Devon

It was bit disappointing for me the way Argyle went about conceding that goal.

You can go on about referees, but I have to say the free-kick he gave, wasn't a free-kick and it ultimately led to a Bradford goal.

Alex Mitchell at the back was impressive tonight, and stopped at least two from going across the line, and those are the kind of players you need - warriors.

On another night there could have been another chance to go and get that winning goal. But tonight it felt as if it was two teams who gave everything and cancelled each other out.

Lincoln City are deserved League One champions and now have the 100-point mark in their sights with two games remaining.

Bradford City need a win from their remaining two matches to guarantee a play-off spot after tonight's draw with Plymouth, who will likely need help elsewhere to finish in the top six.

Stockport's home defeat by Mansfield means they are now watching nervously over their shoulders with Stevenage winning tonight and Luton getting three points at Rotherham.

Bolton now know a point at Bradford on Saturday will safeguard their place in the play-offs.

  6. 'A brave performance'published at 21:54 BST 21 April

    FT: Cambridge 1-2 Grimsby

    Martin Gritton
Ex-Grimsby Town striker on BBC Radio Humberside

What a brave performance from Grimsby Town tonight, the character shown across the team was brilliant - we have seen it a lot recently.

I couldn't be prouder of this team, and have you to say bring on Swindon on Saturday.

  8. 'Bradford were dominant in the second half'published at 21:53 BST 21 April

    FT: Bradford 1-1 Plymouth

    Mark Bower
Former Bradford City defender on BBC Radio Leeds

I think if any team deserves to win it, it was Bradford City.

Both teams had their spells in the first half, but City were dominant in the second half. You could see throughout the game the quality that Argyle had in the final third, and at times they looked like they had more attacking threat than Bradford.

But this is what Bradford City are all about. They probably don't have some of the quality that the top teams have got, but they keep on going, and they definitely deserve a point tonight.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:44 BST 21 April

    Cambridge 1-2 Grimsby

A massive win for the Mariners who have got their play-off hopes back in their own hands with a late smash and grab.

It took a scrambled, scrappy effort from close range off the hip of Cameron McJannet to do it – and a penalty save from Jackson Smith of course after Ben Knight's poor spot kick.

Knight had levelled for Cambridge after Kieran Green had put the visitors ahead earlier but it is Grimsby who have edged a full-blooded affair at the Cledara Abbey Stadium.

They move into to seventh place – one point ahead of Chesterfield – with two games to play.

For Cambridge it is going to be a nervy shootout over those last two games given they are just a point to the good of Salford in fourth place.

They still have the automatic spot in their hands and it is theirs to lose, but they will not want to be facing Grimsby and Co in the play-offs after the grip they have had on their own destiny for so much of this season.

Next up for Stevenage, a trip to South Yorkshire to face Doncaster, while the Tykes go to Luton.

GOAL: Cambridge 1-2 Grimsbypublished at 21:39 BST 21 April

    Cameron McJannet (90+4 mins)

A corner from the right is only half cleared and Charles Vernam is given a second chance to swing it in.

His cross is clipped, deflected off the head of Jsmes Gibbons, and pinballs its way to the far post where Cameron McJannet manages to bundle it in off his hip.

Grimsby fans go wild as their promotion hopes are given a huge adrenaline shot in the fourth minute of extras.
