VERY quiet opening 25 minutes in South Yorkshire.

    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

  9. 'What a hit'published at 20:03 GMT 26 November 2025

    Wrexham 1-0 Bristol City

    Ian Mitchelmore
BBC Sport Wales at the Stok Cae Ras

Wrexham go ahead in sublime style.

They've been the better side so far without creating anything, until the 16th minute that is.

James McClean is picked out on the left, he plays it back to George Thomason who feeds Nathan Broadhead, and the Wales international curls the ball beyond Radek Vitek.

Ben Sheaf behind Broadhead was celebrating before it had even gone in! What a hit from the club's record signing.

    Wrexham 1-0 Bristol City

    Gary Owers
Former Sunderland & Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

What a finish I have to say.

He sets it far of a full-stretch Radek Vitek, it looked as though it was heading wide but it's a really good finish from Broadhead.

Gerhard Struber doesn't look happy with how his team have started the game.

West Brom race away inside the first 30 seconds with Mikey Johnston running from the halfway line.

It's an absolute stunner from Nathan Broadhead.

The Wales forward picks up the ball 25 yards from goal and bends one into the corner. Wonderful.
