    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

QPR's Sam Field was receiving treatment from the medical team and Rhys Norrington-Davies looked set to come on, but Field is back on the pitch and Norrington-Davies has instead gone for a jog along the touchline with his tracksuit back on.

  2. 'City have been caught out twice'published at 20:58 GMT 26 November 2025

    Wrexham 1-0 Bristol City

    Gary Owers
Former Sunderland & Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

City have got back into the game but they've been caught out twice, Kieffer Moore dragged his shot wide and from there he should be hitting the target.

City are threatening but Wrexham look dangerous on the counter-attack.

The game is really open at the moment, a bit end-to-end.

  3. goal

GOAL: Sheff Utd 2-0 Portsmouthpublished at 20:57 GMT 26 November 2025

    Patrick Bamford (54 mins)

Patrick Bamford has his first goal in a Blades shirt!

It's scrappy, hugely scrappy, but he won't mind.

The ball crashes off the crossbar from a corner and Bamford scrambles the rebound in, virtually on the goalline.

  4. Postpublished at 20:55 GMT 26 November 2025

    Millwall 0-0 Sheff Wed

Aidomo Emakhu and Tristan Crama both test Ethan Horvath in the Sheffield Wednesday goal.

A strong start to the second period from Millwall.

Incidentally, Sheffield Wednesday defender Dominic Iorfa was cautioned just before the break and it's his fifth of the season so that's a suspension now for him.

  5. Postpublished at 20:55 GMT 26 November 2025

    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

The first chance after the break is Blackburn's.

Yuki Ohashi's cross is a little high for Andri Gudjohnsen who can't quite get his header on target, but it's certainly a more positive start to this second half for Rovers.

  6. 'A terrific first half from Albion'published at 20:52 GMT 26 November 2025

    West Brom 1-0 Birmingham

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record scorer on BBC Radio WM

I think it's been a terrific first half from Albion's point of view, a good goal from Alex Mowatt and then they've got the confidence from that, they've pushed forward looking for that second goal and I think Ryan Mason will be happy with that.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:51 GMT 26 November 2025

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Portsmouth

Portsmouth have made a change at half-time, bringing on defender Jordan Williams for forward Adrian Segecic.

They need to shore things up following that first-half red card for Terry Devlin.

Alex Mowatt's 50th career goal, via a deflection, has the home side's noses in front at the break.

That came after 12 minutes with West Brom making a lightning start which saw Isaac Price shoot just over inside the opening 30 seconds.

Visiting goalkeeper James Beadle has also made smart saves from Callum Styles and George Campbell.

Birmingham have struggled to make an impression as an attacking force with a Marvin Ducksch header straight at Josh Griffiths the best they have had to offer.

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:48 GMT 26 November 2025

The 19:45 GMT games are starting to get back under way.

Just the three goals in the Championship so far... must do better.

Ryan Mason gesticulatesImage source, PA Media

We are into three minutes of stoppage time.

West Brom will be very satisfied with this.

Not only are they ahead, they are making it hard for Birmingham to produce anything truly threatening.

  11. 'They're looking much better'published at 20:44 GMT 26 November 2025

    HT: Wrexham 1-0 Bristol City

    Gary Owers
Former Sunderland & Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

The best chance for City came with Mehmeti, he should do better, hit the target, the goal disallowed from McCrorie, they'll feel slightly hard done by, I don't know what was on the paper but they're looking much better.

Wrexham had too many passes early on, and you think you might be able to get a block on the effort, you don't and then you pay the price for it.

    HT: Blackburn 0-0 QPR

Blackburn are like that wily old boxer here, letting the opponent tire themselves out before delivering the knockout blow. It's coming in the second half.

  13. 'Blues haven't carried that same intensity'published at 20:41 GMT 26 November 2025

    West Brom 1-0 Birmingham

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Blues just haven't carried that same intensity from the three games at St Andrew's.

I think Chris Davies will look at half time at what can be done, perhaps not a substitution straight away, but something.

  14. Postpublished at 20:40 GMT 26 November 2025

    West Brom 1-0 Birmingham

Not for the first time in this game, Mikey Johnston is allowed to travel a long way with the ball for West Brom.

Birmingham just back off him and invite the shot - fortunately for the visitors it's well over the bar.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:37 GMT 26 November 2025

    Blackburn 0-0 QPR

Andri Gudjohnsen spurns a good chance for BlackburnImage source, Shutterstock

In theory, Julien Stephan will be the happier of the two managers at the break but he'll also be frustrated that his QPR side are not ahead. A few offside calls and a lack of composure in front of goal mean Rangers haven't capitalised on their general dominance so far.

Valerien Ismael might be considering changes at half-time. Although they have had the best chance of the game to take the lead, it has also been Blackburn's only real chance of note. They're simply not creating enough.

It's all to play for after the break.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:34 GMT 26 November 2025

    West Brom 1-0 Birmingham

Tomoki Iwata is the second Birmingham man to be cautioned as he chops down Callum Styles.

It's a fifth yellow card of the season for Iwata so he'll now serve a suspension.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 GMT 26 November 2025

    Millwall 0-0 Sheff Wed

A spectacular effort from the visitors' Barry Bannan from the halfway line brought to an end an otherwise rather mundane first half.

That shot was tipped over by Millwall goalkeeper Max Crocombe who had also early saved from the same player.

Visiting goalkeeper Ethan Horvath has also saved from Thierno Ballo.

It's not been great to be honest.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 GMT 26 November 2025

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Portsmouth

Sydie Peck celebrates United's opening goalImage source, PA Media

It all went wrong for Pompey five minutes before half-time.

Terry Devlin was sent off for handball on the goalline, Sydie Peck slotted in the resulting penalty and as it stands Sheffield United are out of the Championship drop zone.

A long way back for the visitors - both on the pitch and down the M1 later.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 GMT 26 November 2025

    Wrexham 1-0 Bristol City

Phil Parkinson shoutingImage source, PA Media

Nathan Broadhead's sublime curling finish from 25 yards is the difference at the break.

Bristol City have had their chances and thought they'd equalised when Ross McCrorie's goal was disallowed, but it's Wrexham who lead.

  20. 'Blues are asking questions'published at 20:32 GMT 26 November 2025

    West Brom 1-0 Birmingham

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Blues are just asking questions now.

Ducksch was in and around it, Albion managed to get it clear, but Blues are controlling it now and Chris Davies will be much happier with his side.
