    West Brom 1-1 Birmingham

    Darren Carter

It's a set-piece, and we said how important they can be.

Ducksch gets in front of everyone and his flicked header goes through everyone.

It's all about the ball, it's a fantastic ball in, Blues have had a few decent moments around the box, they've grown into the game and Albion will be ruing those missed chances.

    Blackburn 0-1 QPR

Paul Smyth somersaultsImage source, PA Media

It was by no means a classic but QPR emerge victorious at Ewood Park.

Paul Smyth proved super-sub for Julien Stephan's side with a phenomenal header and his volley that struck the post was also a highlight of the game.

It's been 16 games without a draw in this fixture and Blackburn can have few complaints about that. They improved in the second half but their miserable home form continues.

    FT: Wrexham 2-0 Bristol City

    Gary Owers
Former Sunderland & Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

City were not at the best, they didn't start the game well at all.

Wrexham got their noses in front and that was the story of the game, City didn't do enough to get themselves back into the game.

They've got to get themselves home, Portsmouth who were on the end of defeat this evening, will be looking to rectify that on Saturday so some work to be done in the week for sure.

Goals from Sydie Peck, Patrick Bamford and Gus Hamer gave them a comfortable win.

It all went pear shaped for Pompey when Terry Devlin was sent off for handball on the goalline with the score at 0-0.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:36 GMT 26 November 2025

    Blackburn 0-1 QPR
