  1. goal

GOAL: AFC Wimbledon 1-0 Blackpoolpublished at 19:59 GMT 11 March

    Ryan Johnson (11 mins)

Early goal in League One and it's not good news for relegation-threatened Blackpool.

Poor defending from a corner allows Ryan Johnson to nod hosts AFC Wimbledon ahead.

  2. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 19:58 GMT 11 March

    Birmingham 1-0 QPR

Blues aren't hanging around here, they want the second goal.

And their players were appealing for a penalty as Ronnie Edwards dives in to make the challenge and the ball appears to brush his arm.

There doesn't seem much he can do to prevent it at such close range and the referee rightly waves play on.

  3. Postpublished at 19:58 GMT 11 March

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Utd

Anis Ben Slimane connects with a header from a cross in from the right for Norwich but it's slightly awkward, behind him and flies over the bar.

  4. 'A tough week'published at 19:57 GMT 11 March

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford winger on BBC Radio Oxford

After the passing of Amelia Aplin, it has been a really tough week. I was a bit late to coming onto the commentary tonight because I just needed a minute. It has been so hard.

As the players came out at the Kassam today it was a very different pre game atmosphere to normal, with no music blaring out as there usually is.

Oxford are paying their respects to 15-year-old academy player Amelia Aplin who tragically passed away on Saturday afternoon after collapsing during a girls’ academy game against Fulham at the club’s training centre.

Both sets of players, Amelia's team and family were out on the middle of the pitch and the Kassam observed an emotional minute of silence.

  6. CLOSE!published at 19:55 GMT 11 March

    West Brom 0-0 Southampton

Saints have made a strong start to the game but it's the hosts who have the first chance of note.

Aune Heggebo's header is touched over the bar by Saints keeper Daniel Peretz.

Something to please interim Baggies boss James Morrison.

  7. Postpublished at 19:53 GMT 11 March

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Utd

Femi Seriki gets in behind on the right for United but his cross flashes across the face of goal with no-one making a connection for the Blades.

  8. 'Lively start'published at 19:53 GMT 11 March

    Oxford 0-0 Blackburn

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford winger on BBC Radio Oxford

A really lively start for Oxford and exactly what we needed.

  9. CLOSE!published at 19:52 GMT 11 March

    Oxford 0-0 Blackburn

    What a chance for Oxford!

Cameron Brannagan clips a lovely ball out to Stan Mills on the right, who pulls it across the face of goal for Will Lankshear but the Tottenham loanee can't divert his effort on target from close range.

Two goals in two games coming into this for Lankshear and he will feel he should have done better there.

  10. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 1-0 QPRpublished at 19:51 GMT 11 March

    Patrick Roberts (6 min)

A perfect start for the hosts!

Both of these sides have been on losing runs but Blues have taken the lead through Patrick Roberts.

Ibrahim Osman gets down the left and crosses into the box, and Roberts tucks it home with what I think his first touch of the game!

I feel Coventry need another 15 points to secure automatic promotion.

  12. Postpublished at 19:51 GMT 11 March

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Utd

A first effort of real note at Carrow Road and it goes to Norwich.

Sydie Peck with a poor ball out for United and Jack Stacey intercepts before letting fly from 25 yards but it flies harmlessly over the top.

  13. CLOSE!published at 19:50 GMT 11 March

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Charlton

A big opportunity for Boro tonight to pull further away from Ipswich in the race to go up.

Tommy Conway is up front alongside David Strelec.

They've started well the hosts and have almost scored as captain Hayden Hackney's deflected shot is followed up by Morgan Whittaker, as the former Plymouth attacker flashes a shot across goal and just wide of the far post.

Charlton have a new-look defence from their victory over Birmingham at the weekend, they've changed all three centre-backs.

  14. Postpublished at 19:48 GMT 11 March

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Utd

It's a tough assignment for Sheffield United tonight if they are to make a late burst towards the play-offs.

Only Southampton (20) and Millwall (19) have picked up more points than Norwich (18) in their past eight Championship games.

  15. 'Saints must stop the crosses'published at 19:47 GMT 11 March

    West Brom 0-0 Southampton

    Jo Tessem
Ex-Southampton midfielder on BBC Radio Solent

West Brom are not a bad side, no one is in the Championship. Anyone can beat anyone.

I think the size of the pitch here will favour Saints but they need to play fast football and most importantly stop the crosses.

  16. Postpublished at 19:47 GMT 11 March

    Oxford 0-0 Blackburn

Oxford boss Matt Bloomfield has stuck with the same team that won 3-1 at Preston last time out.

Two changes for Blackburn from their 1-1 draw with Portsmouth as Moussa Baradji and Dion De Neve come in for Todd Cantwell and Harry Pickering, who drop to the bench

  17. Postpublished at 19:46 GMT 11 March

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Utd

Philippe Clement has changed almost half of his Norwich team from the 3-0 loss at Leeds in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday with five alterations.

Vladan Kovacevic, Jack Stacey, Harry Darling, Tony Springett and Anis Ben Slimane all come in.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder makes three changes from the 1-1 draw with West Brom as Femi Seriki, Tom Cannon and Tyrese Campbell start with Ki-Jana Hoever dropping to the bench.

Gus Hamer misses out with suspension after picking up 10 yellow cards, while Patrick Bamford and Kalvin Phillips are both out injured.

The Premier League feels tantalisingly close for Coventry. After 25 long years, including relegation to League One and League Two and the journey back up again, the top flight is within touching distance once more.

But despite their five-point lead over second-placed Middlesbrough and the chance to move nine clear of Millwall in third tonight, Frank Lampard will probably be the first to tell you that 12 games is a long time in football.

Sky Blues fans will not need reminding that a run of just four wins in 13 saw their 10-point advantage wiped out by Boro just a month ago.

But it's five wins in a row since then for Coventry with a chance to make it six on the bounce against a Preston side on the wane.

The Lilywhites were firmly in contention for a play-off finish when they were fourth in early January but one win in 10 games has seen Paul Heckingbottom's team in landslide mode down to 14th, eight points adrift of the top six.
