This match has picked up very much where it left off from the first half.

Wave after wave of Blues attacks but they're not finding a way through, and 1-0 is never a comfortable scoreline.

The hosts in total control, though you feel they need that second goal to settle a few nerves after three straight defeats.

Dave (20:41) if its any consolation, after 49 years of supporting the sky blues, I'm still forever checking were safe from relegation...

  3. goal

GOAL: AFC Wimbledon 2-0 Blackpoolpublished at 20:58 GMT 11 March

    Matt Stevens pen (54 mins)

James Husband is apoplectic to see the referee point to the spot for a tussle with Wimbledon forward Marcus Browne.

Matty Stevens tucks home the penalty and Blackpool will sink into the League One relegation places tonight unless they can muster a fightback.

    Oxford 1-0 Blackburn

A shot on target for Blackburn - their first of the night.

Moussa Baradji with volley from the centre of the box but it's straight at Jamie Cumming in the Oxford goal.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:56 GMT 11 March

    West Brom 1-0 Southampton

Kicking off a bit later at the Hawthorns due to that delay for the head injuries in added time of the first half.

Saints have made a change up front at the break, with Cyle Larin coming on for Ross Stewart, as they try to find a way back into the game.

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:56 GMT 11 March

    Norwich 0-1 Sheff Utd

Anis Ben Slimane turns and hits one first time on the edge of the area for Norwich but Adam Davies is down well to his right to make the save for the Blades.

Another soulless performance from PNE - just like last season’s slump. Time for a change to stop the free fall. The manager just seems incapable of stopping the rot. After supporting PNE for 63 years we seem nearer to League 1 than the play-offs

  8. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:54 GMT 11 March

    Oxford 1-0 Blackburn

Blackburn's Dion De Neve comes through the back of Oxford winger Myles Peart-Harris, who goes down in the area. Would have been very soft if that had been given and the referee agrees.

  9. Postpublished at 20:53 GMT 11 March

    Norwich 0-1 Sheff Utd

Norwich have picked up where they left off at the end of the first half and are pushing for an equaliser.

Paris Maghoma, who has just come on from the bench, wastes a corner though, hitting it straight out of play at the near post.

  10. 'We have started the second half strong'published at 20:53 GMT 11 March

    Oxford 1-0 Blackburn

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford winger on BBC Radio Oxford

We have started the second half how we finished the first half, nice and strong. A nice high press. I want to see us getting our wingers on the ball a bit more though.

    Birmingham 1-0 QPR

    QPR have had a shot!

It's 48 minutes but they have indeed registered an effort.

It's not a good one - Amadou Mbengue from distance and it's high and wide.

But it's an improvement nonetheless... right?

  12. 'As good as I have seen Coventry'published at 20:51 GMT 11 March

    HT: Coventry 2-0 Preston

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

This is as good as I have seen Coventry, they are very comfortable. They just need to avoid getting complacent because Preston will try and get something back.

    Oxford 1-0 Blackburn

A much better start to this second half for Blackburn as they cause a bit of chaos in the Oxford area from a corner.

Rovers couldn't be much worse than they were in that first 45. Huge half, this.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 20:50 GMT 11 March

    Birmingham 1-0 QPR

We're back up and running at St Andrew's and it's no great surprise to see a couple of changes to the QPR team for the second half after that.

Julien Stephan clearly not happy and he's made two changes to the team.

Jonathan Varane and Koki Saito both hooked, academy boys Kieran Morgan and Rayan Kolli are on.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:50 GMT 11 March

    Norwich 0-1 Sheff Utd

One change at the break for Norwich as Paris Maghoma is on for Tony Springett.

As a nervous Leicester fan, I clearly want Southampton to score two away goals in the second half! I've *no idea* what I want from the game in Oxford - any result there could help us in different ways??

    Steve, Cambridge

Yep, we're definitely at the stage of the season now where everyone is checking the results of the teams in and around them...

  17. 'Saints need to up the energy levels'published at 20:48 GMT 11 March

    HT: West Brom 1-0 Southampton

    Jo Tessem
Ex-Southampton midfielder on BBC Radio Solent

They need to up the tempo and take the risks, make the runs, get the ball in the box.

They have to play the ball forward and the biggest problem for the manager now is how is he going to get them to step up the energy levels.

As a Swansea fan I think Coventry will and should go up automatically. I feel sorry for their attackers though because I don't think Asante, Wright, M-Clark or Simms are going to be playing much in the PL.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 GMT 11 March

    Coventry 2-0 Preston

It's all going very swimmingly for Premier League-bound Coventry City.

A deflected Tatsuhiro Sakamoto strike and a goal that just hit Brandon Thomas-Asante and went in.

Perhaps this is finally going to be the year for the Sky Blues?
