    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

Daniel Farke looks to be having a bit of a moan at the fourth official on the touchline.

Bot too sure what it's about. Might favour his players though if he vents a little before going in for his half-time talk.

  2. 'Clyne put it on a plate for Mateta'published at 18:13 GMT 1 January

Crystal Palace exploited it perfectly. You can see the Fulham player off the pitch, it's too easy.

Clyne puts it on a plate for Jean-Philippe Mateta. It goes underneath the goalkeeper, and Mateta is back amongst the goals.

Virgil van Dijk rises well to meet Dominik Szoboszlai's free-kick but he can't get over the ball and it's behind for a goal kick.

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Fulham

Jorge Cuenca must be walking a very narrow tightrope now.

The Fulham defender pulls down Justin Devenny, and having already been booked, needs to be very careful indeed.

  5. Postpublished at 18:13 GMT 1 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

It's a drop ball to Liverpool rather than a free-kick and Alisson finds Conor Bradley, who is fouled, and Dominik Szoboszlai will have the opportunity to swing in the dead ball.

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Fulham

The confidence is flowing for Crystal Palace now as Yeremy Pino and then Justin Devenny almost thread in killer passes behind the Fulham back line.

The visitors need to get to half-time without conceding again.

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

A rare Leeds attack has Liverpool looking a little stretched and Dominik Szoboszlai has taken an arm to the face from Anton Stach.

Stach was later fouled on the edge of the box but it looks like the referee Chris Kavanagh has given the free-kick in Liverpool's favour for the first infringement.

    Jean-Philippe Mateta (39 mins)

Jean-Philippe Mateta meets a brilliant cross from Nathaniel Clyne and heads past Bernd Leno!

The Frenchman had only scored once in his previous eight games, but makes it 10 for the season.

He, and Crystal Palace, really needed that goal!

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

Play is stopped as Jorge Cuenca goes down clutching his face after Justin Devenny catches him with a flailing arm.

That looked accidental at worst, but the Spaniard clearly wants further action to be taken.

Tony Harrington restarts play with a dropped ball.

Leeds' defence seem determined to pass the ball back in to danger rather than kick it clear. It's going to cost them at some point.

Conor Bradley now has a go down the right but doesn't quite have the pace of Jeremie Frimpong and ties himself up in knots before stumbling on the ball.

You can see the impact that Jeremie Frimpong is having on this game now. He's got the rare ability to take on a player with ease. Leeds can't handle him.

Palace look so tired. No press on the ball, allowing Fulham possession and the chances. There's only one winner here at the moment.

Jeremie Frimpong is Liverpool's most threatening man now out on the right wing.

He shows a great turn of pace before crossing for Florian Wirtz but Leeds get players back to swarm and clear.

  15. 'Guehi's unfortunate not to score'published at 18:06 GMT 1 January

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

    Sam Parkin
Former Luton Town forward on Sky Sports

There's a little bit of skill which sets up the shooting opportunity on Marc Guehi's left side, which is wonderful.

It's the first meaningful save of the evening from Bernd Leno.

Guehi is unfortunate not to score.

Two brilliant crosses. First from Conor Bradley and an even better one from Andy Robertson. There is a bit more urgency and speed in the play from Liverpool.

Hugo Ekitike has his head in his hands and rightly so.

The striker had an open goal to head into with Lucas Perri off his line and cut out by a great cross from Jeremie Frimpong.

But Ekitike gets his angles wrong and heads across goal and back at Perri.

    It should be 1-0.

Fulham go up the other end and Kenny Tete sends an audacious volley looping narrowly over the crossbar.

There was just a brief VAR check on a potential penalty after Will Hughes went down in the build up to that chance, but it turns out the challenge was actually outside of the box. No penalty.

Ethan Ampadu knows that's a massive opportunity. It's a dreadful ball from Alisson and the Leeds skipper took it on first time but got the direction on his strike all wrong.
