  1. 'Alisson had a problem'published at 18:03 GMT 1 January

Former Liverpool defender on Sky Sports

Soon as Alisson Becker took his touch he had a problem. It was right under his foot.

  2. CLOSE!published at 18:02 GMT 1 January

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

Palace work the ball down the left and it's pinball in the box.

The ball falls to the feet of Marc Guehi, but his stabbed effort from close range is blocked by Bernd Leno.

    Better from Palace!

  3. Postpublished at 18:02 GMT 1 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

    Oh!

Alisson tries to play the ball out with the outside of his boot and gets it horribly wrong as it falls straight to Ethan Ampadu. The Leeds midfielder hits it back first time but the goalkeeper recovers quickly to save.

  4. Postpublished at 18:01 GMT 1 January

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

Here's a dull stat for a dull match:

Only Wolves v Brentford (32nd minute) last month had a longer wait for the first shot in a Premier League game this season than tonight's game (24 minutes).

Doesn’t feel like I'm watching Liverpool anymore. Too much tippy tappy nonsense! Liverpool are usually a fast, direct, dynamic aggressive football team and we are the polar opposite.

  6. Postpublished at 18:00 GMT 1 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

Ibrahmia Konate clips a ball behind the Leeds defence and surprisingly Andy Robertson is the most advanced player.

It looks for a moment like he might be in but the Scotland defender was offside.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson has agreed to join Crystal Palace in a deal worth £35m.

The transfer could be finalised tomorrow after the completion of medical checks, in time for the 24-year-old Wales international to be named in Palace's squad to face Newcastle on Sunday.

Johnson held talks with Eagles boss Oliver Glasner and other members of the club's hierarchy today before making a final decision about the move.

Those discussions have been successful and Johnson is now on the verge of completing a move to Selhurst Park.

Despite his personal success last season, which included scoring the winning goal in Tottenham's Europa League final victory over Manchester United in Bilbao, Johnson is not part of manager Thomas Frank's long-term plans.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

Eight of the last nine goals Crystal Palace have conceded have come from dead-ball situations, but this time the Eagles manage to clear.

Will Hughes takes a clattering but he's fine to continue.

  9. 'Frimpong looks dangerous'published at 17:59 GMT 1 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

    Jamie Carragher
Former Liverpool defender on Sky Sports

Jeremie Frimpong looks dangerous every time the ball goes on the outside. Frimpong always gets that half a yard, and you just don't see that in the game.

On that note, Jeremie Frimpong gets past his man and squeezes away a cross but Pascal Struijk is there to clear for a corner.

Antonee Robinson produces a teasing cross towards the back post, and Tyrique Mitchell is forced to head behind for a corner.

Fulham are building up ahead of steam here.

  12. Need to get Frimpong involvedpublished at 17:57 GMT 1 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

Liverpool need to try and get Jeremie Frimpong into the game. He's had nowhere near enough of the ball but we've seen the impact he can have in the final third with his pace and directness in recent weeks.

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

Anton Stach gets caught on the back of the head as the ball goes out for a throw but he looks OK.

Ethan Ampadu launches the resulting throw into the area but there's a foul and Liverpool have a free-kick.

  14. 'Jimenez scuffs it'published at 17:57 GMT 1 January

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

    Sam Parkin
Former Luton Town forward on Sky Sports

Three presentable opportunities for Fulham to open the scoring. Harry Wilson does well to hit the target from that angle.

Raul Jimenez's chance is the best of the lot with the form he's in. He scuffs it into the turf.

  15. CLOSE!published at 17:56 GMT 1 January

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

We wait 24 minutes for a chance and then three come at once!

Kevin finds space on the left but Emile Smith Rowe cant's get proper contact on his cross.

Harry Wilson runs onto the loose ball at the back post and sees his hammered strike beaten away by Dean Henderson, before Raul Jimenez places a shot narrowly wide of the post.

  16. Postpublished at 17:54 GMT 1 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

Andy Robertson gives possession away cheaply deep inside his own half but it's wasted by Leeds as Ethan Ampadu rushes his pass.

Leeds just can't get a foothold now.

  17. Postpublished at 17:54 GMT 1 January

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

Harry Wilson plays Kevin in on goal, but the Brazilian is clearly a yard or so offside.

The linesman's flag goes up but Kevin gets his shot off anyway, only for Dean Henderson to save.

  18. 'Positive from Devenny'published at 17:53 GMT 1 January

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

    Sam Parkin
Former Luton Town forward on Sky Sports

Justin Devenny, really positive because he's been a peripheral figure so far. He just drives at his opposite number. Cuenca will have to watch his step.

  19. Postpublished at 17:52 GMT 1 January

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Fulham

Jefferson Lerma's long throw causes panic in the Fulham box, before Bernd Leno has to slap Maxence Lacroix's cross over his own crossbar.

The following corner is recycled but, again, nothing comes of it.

  20. Postpublished at 17:52 GMT 1 January

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

Curtis Jones gets a little frustrated with Liverpool's inability to pick the lock and takes matters into his own hands.

The midfielder fails to generate any decent purchase on the ball, though, and it painfully rolls through to the goalkeeper.
