It's quite difficult to go through what Josh Rock is doing. You're losing the first game every week while the players that win are carrying on while you're sat on the sidelines.

Absolutely crushing for Josh Rock, it looks like he's throwing someone else's darts.

Then Bunting returns to punish at double eight for the fourth leg.

  5. 'You can't take legs off'published at 19:30 GMT 12 March

    Rock 0-3 Bunting

Former PDC world champion on Sky Sports

Watching that 164 attempt from Stephen Bunting would have tightened Josh Rock up. He is playing well but you can't take legs off in the Premier League, these players will always take what you give them.

It's not easy playing in these big venues for Rock for the first time, the crowds can make you edgy.

  6. Bullet in chargepublished at 19:30 GMT 12 March

    Rock 0-3 Bunting

Stephen Bunting has a firm hold in this opening quarter-final now. The Bullet has raced to a three-leg advantage inside eight minutes.

He goes just wide on an attempt at bullseye for an ambitious 164 checkout before Josh Rock completely misses three at tops!

Then Bunting returns to take out a simple double eight - clinical stuff.

  7. 'Big opportunity for Bunting'published at 19:30 GMT 12 March

    Rock 0-2 Bunting

    John Part
Former PDC world champion on Sky Sports

It's a big opportunity for Stephen Bunting, he's playing bottom of the table and that's where he needs to make his hay.

He's so effective with that move to the left on that double eight and double 16. His way of approaching the problem is so comfortable for him.

  8. Bunting doubles uppublished at 19:28 GMT 12 March

    Rock 0-2 Bunting

Did Josh Rock peak too early? It seems he has completely lost his rhythm after that opening 180.

Stephen Bunting takes total control of the second leg, getting a chance at 81 without any pressure whatsoever to checkout.

He returns to take on double 18 - and hits it first time!

Josh Rock delights the crowd with a pinpoint opening 180 but follows it up with a disappointing 41.

Stephen Bunting builds up in the meantime and checks out with a double eight to hold.

The Bullet might've needed two bites at the cherry, but he gets on the board early doors.

Tonight's action begins with a tasty encounter between Josh Rock and Stephen Bunting, with the two players currently occupying the bottom two spots in the Premier League table.

Rock is yet to win a single match in the competition this year, while Bunting has a night win under his belt but has exited four out of the five nights so far at the quarter-final stage.

The pair faced off at the UK Open last weekend, with Rock taking a 10-7 victory to progress to the Finals Day for a second consecutive year.

The winner of this clash will meet either top-of-the-table Jonny Clayton or seven-time champion Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals.

Everyone's said that this is an era that can't be dominated but it's an era Luke Littler is doing.

He's not playing anywhere near his A-game but he's cracking in more than most.

    He'll go back-to-back, that's what he does.

After winning last week's Premier League night and then successfully defending his UK Open title in Minehead, Luke Littler enjoyed a day off at the Cheltenham Festival this week ahead of night six in Nottingham.

He did have rather a lot of prize money burning a hole in his pocket I suppose - I wonder if he's as good at picking winners as he is hitting treble 20s.

Luke Humphries was also spotted at Cheltenham alongside his namesake - showing that the two best dartists on the planet really do get along off the oche.

  17. Clayton's confidence 'high' after 'good start'published at 19:01 GMT 12 March

Jonny Clayton says he will be playing with a "smile on his face" in Nottingham after taking three points in Cardiff to pull further away at the top of the Premier League table.

The 51-year-old holds a five-point lead going into night six at the Motorpoint Arena, helped by winning all of his quarter-final matches so far and claiming a night win in Glasgow.

"I'm feeling good," said Clayton. "My darts are going well and my confidence is high, so I'm looking forward to tonight.

"I've had a good start and hopefully it carries on. I'm looking for two points week-in week-out, and anything else is a massive bonus."

  20. Rock 'still enjoying' Premier League challengepublished at 18:53 GMT 12 March

Josh Rock believes he has been "pretty unfortunate" in his first five nights of Premier League action.

The Northern Irishman arrives in Nottingham hoping to avoid a sixth consecutive quarter-final exit, but insists he is in high spirits ahead of his clash with Stephen Bunting tonight.

"This is brand new for me and Gian [van Veen]," said Rock. "He has got used to it a lot quicker than me, but I'm still enjoying the Premier League.

"I think I've been pretty unfortunate, especially last week against Luke [Littler]. I'm not playing badly so I believe there is a win coming."
