    Humphries v Littler

Luke Humphries speaking to Sky Sports: "I know it sounds funny but the flights I've been using recently have been really good for scoring, but I'm just not getting my doubles.

"The old one were decent at scoring and really good on finishing. The doubles are what is going to win you games. I'm going to stick with them for a little bit and try find that balance with what makes you the better player."

    Humphries v Littler

Luke Littler on Sky Sports about that Gerwyn Price epic: "It was a brilliant game to be a part of. "The first two legs I deserved then Gezzy hit back as he does but just, yeah, great game to be involved in."

And on getting some stick from the crowd: "Maybe two years ago it was very difficult for me, but I've shown there that I can give it back to the fans and go on and win games and forget about it.

"At one point I thought it was going to ruin the game as it was an incredible game, but I'm just glad I got the job done."

The two best players on the planet go head-to-head in our second semi-final - it's Luke Humphries v Luke Littler.

Reigning champion Humphries is looking for his first nightly win of the 2026 Premier League having failed to reach a final.

He defeated an out-of-sorts Gian van Veen 6-4 in the quarter-finals in Nottingham.

Littler won just once across the first four nights, but won night five to surge up to third in the table.

The world champion followed up that success in Cardiff by defending his UK Open title at the weekend.

Earlier tonight the 19-year-old edged a thrilling quarter-final against Gerwyn Price 6-5.

Littler has won the past five meetings between the pair - can Humphries upset the form book?

  6. Clayton fires through to finalpublished at 21:40 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 3-6 Clayton

When I said Stephen Bunting couldn't find the doubles for love nor money, I really meant it!

The Bullet thought he was on for a vital leg after very nearly pulling off back-to-back 180s, but one gets stuck in the other and they are crucial points lost.

He has the chance to keep things alive on a 52 finish but misses a match dart at tops. Unluckily for him, Jonny Clayton isn't in the mood for messing around tonight, especially on that hurting leg/hip/foot.

He nails double tops to cruise into the final in Nottingham!

  7. 'Bunting is faffing'published at 21:38 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 3-5 Clayton

Former World Matchplay finalist on Sky Sports

16 missed darts at a double for Stephen Bunting, you can't do that against Jonny Clayton.

There was some faffing against Josh Rock and he's doing it again.

  8. Clayton goes within one leg of finalpublished at 21:38 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 3-5 Clayton

Stephen Bunting has got himself in a right pickle here...

The Bullet isn't firing at all as he cannot find double four to checkout, nor can he find double two on his second visit, or double one on his third!

It really was ludicrous stuff - and he has now missed the double 16 times in this semi-final contest.

Jonny Clayton finds double three without any bother though to claim a huge break of throw in these closing stages.

  9. 'Bunting's first dart is improved'published at 21:35 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 3-4 Clayton

    Wayne Mardle
Former World Matchplay finalist on Sky Sports

Bunting has solved that problem of going low on the treble 20. Since then he's back in the game.

There was oodles of pressure on that 44 finish from Clayton but he's 4/4 on the outer ring.

    Both players averaging a ton.

  10. Clayton holds throwpublished at 21:35 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 3-4 Clayton

Jonny Clayton does what needs to be done and holds throw.

He fires 140 off a brilliant set of darts, leaving just 44 on the board.

Stephen Bunting cannot take out 161, which was a big ask anyway, and the Welshman hits double 16 to hold!

  11. Bunting levels playing fieldpublished at 21:32 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 3-3 Clayton

The Bullet is well and truly back in this semi-final now!

He finds another maximum to leave just 44 on the board, an easy finish for a man of his calibre.

But he misses it on his first visit, returning on eight, and eventually finds double one to level things up.

Jonny Clayton completely went missing in that leg - wakey wakey!

  12. Bunting claims back-to-back legspublished at 21:30 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 2-3 Clayton

Stephen Bunting is finding some rhythm here!

He absolutely fires in a 180 leaving just 81 for a crucial break of throw.

He misses double 12 and double six, but he comes back to take it on his next visit. Vital.

  13. 'Important finish from Bunting'published at 21:29 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 1-3 Clayton

    Wayne Mardle
Former World Matchplay finalist on Sky Sports

Beware the lame dart player. There's nothing boring about Jonny Clayton's play right now.

That was an important finish from Stephen Bunting, that stops the run of legs from Jonny.

  14. Bunting closes gappublished at 21:29 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 1-3 Clayton

    That's better from Stephen Bunting.

He is practically gifted an opportunity to get on the board by Jonny Clayton, who is still limping to and from the board.

From 167 he takes out 97 to leave just 70 - and he takes it on his next visit to get up and running!

  16. Clayton takes three legs on the bouncepublished at 21:27 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 0-3 Clayton

It's a slower start from Jonny Clayton, but Stephen Bunting just cannot capitalise.

The Bullet is really struggling to find the trebles out there, and he needs those against the in-form Ferret.

Clayton nails double 10 with his first dart, searching for 20, to claim a third leg.

I reckon Clayton beats Bunting but won't get past either Luke in the final.

  18. Clayton doubles uppublished at 21:24 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 0-2 Clayton

Jonny Clayton is still limping up and down the stage, but it doesn't seem to be affecting his darts too much!

He is quickly gathering some momentum, taking out 40 with a double tops to complete an important break of throw.

13 darts is all it took.

  19. 'Grimace on the face of Clayton'published at 21:22 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 0-1 Clayton

    Glen Durrant
Former Premier League champion on Sky Sports

There was a grimace on the face of Jonny Clayton during his walk-on. I wonder if it will play a part as the night goes on because he is struggling.

  20. Clayton takes first legpublished at 21:22 GMT 12 March

    Bunting 0-1 Clayton

Jonny Clayton comes from behind to punish Stephen Bunting!

The Ferret has to keep up with a beautiful leg of darts from the Bullet. He gets unlucky for a second treble 20 when punting for a 150 checkout.

Bunting is allowed another sniff but all of his doubles go begging - and all it takes is a double 16 for Clayton!

He well and truly punished those misses.
