Littler learnt a lesson last year… winning the league doesn’t mean winning the PL. Top 4 is what matters here!!

    Price v Littler

Gerwyn Price speaking to Sky Sports: "I'm in a good head space and I feel confident coming off the back of the UK Open. If I can get through my first game, I can ease the pressure a little bit. I know Luke is the toughest one to play but it's a challenge I'm ready for.

"You need a bit of luck along the way to win the tournaments which I've not had but I need to just keep playing well then the wins will come."

Revenge could be on the cards as the quarter-finals conclude with a rematch between Gerwyn Price and Luke Littler.

Littler ended Price's hopes of an all-Welsh final in Cardiff last week, winning their semi-final 6-3 before beating Jonny Clayton 6-3 in the final to win his first night of 2026.

After a slow start to the campaign, Littler followed up his night five triumph by successfully defending his UK Open title in Minehead.

Price hasn't reached a final since winning night two, though he has made back-to-back semi-finals. On Sunday 'The Iceman' reached the last-four of the UK Open - won by Littler - but fell 11-8 to James Wade.
