  2. Up next...can Rock stop the rot?published at 19:43 GMT 19 March

Josh Rock has hit a nine-darter in front of his own fans in Belfast, but he's still not yet managed to win one single game in 2026 Premier League Darts.

And it gets no easier for Rock who takes on an in-form Gerwyn Price tonight - with the Welshman making the final of the European Darts Trophy over the weekend.

Price could have beaten Luke Littler last week when he lost 6-5 in Nottingham despite averaging over 101 and taking out 151 and 152, and the Welshman won last year's Premier League trip to Dublin so will relish a return.

It looks like Rock is up against it again as he looks to finally break his duck in a difficult debut season so far.

With Gian van Veen being forced out tonight it means that his scheduled opponent Michael van Gerwen gets a bye into the semi-finals and also gets the two points he'd usually get for the win.

And as if kidney stones weren't painful enough for Van Veen, he has to stomach what amounts to a 6-0 whitewash defeat as under Premier League rules he gets a six-leg deduction for missing the week.

MVG gets just a plus one leg boost to his legs difference tally so far - that's a tough break allaround for Van Veen. We wish him a speedy recovery.

    Bunting v Littler

    Bunting v Littler

    Wayne Mardle
Former World Matchplay finalist on Sky Sports

Luke Littler has been a bit underwhelming. He's not played that well at all.

The others must be thinking that is one play-off spot taken up with him in second place now. They are probably assuming Jonny Clayton has one too.

Littler has hardly done anything right and he's probably got one. It's probably time for him to start reeling off two or three points each week now.
