  1. Van Gerwen busts 136 - then breaks!published at 20:50 GMT 19 March

    Van Gerwen 2-1 Littler

A first 180 of the match goes Michael van Gerwen to leave 136 for the break but after two treble 20s he hits the wrong bed and nails double 16 of double eight to bust it!

Littler can't take advantage though so Mighty Mike can come back to take out 76 to grab the break he deserved.

  2. MVG levels it uppublished at 20:48 GMT 19 March

    Van Gerwen 1-1 Littler

Luke Litter has a sniff of a break with 111 left after Michael van Gerwen misses tops, but the Dutchman returns to hold and level the match.

Much better scoring from MVG there after a very cold start in the opening leg.

Not exactly champagne stuff to kick us off but a hold is a hold and that's good enough for Luke Littler.

Feeling for Josh.... Where is that amazing super accurate darts wizard that won with Big Chin not too long ago for Ireland. Deserves better, a harsh few weeks for the "rock".

    Mike, Wales

I really feel for Josh Rock at this stage.

It is going to go one of two ways: Is he going to let this slide into other events and play poorly in them because this is affecting his confidence or he'll continue to play well elsewhere and finally kick in here.

He doesn't look a confident man at all. He needs one of those games where someone just misses against him and he has a decent game.

He won't believe how badly he's playing. Nobody has pictured him playing as poorly as he has. It is not pleasant to see.

  10. Late start for MVGpublished at 20:36 GMT 19 March

Right then, the semi-finals await and let's see how Michael van Gerwen will react to his late start given he had a bye following Gian van Veen getting kidney stones and having to pull out.

Will Mighty Mike come out fresh and firing or will Luke Littler be too much for him and catch him cold?

  11. 'Big night for Michael'published at 20:33 GMT 19 March

It is a big night for Michael van Gerwen. One win and he's in the final and he's picking up good points.

    He hasn't been playing well.

  14. Humphries holds to go one leg from victorypublished at 20:23 GMT 19 March

    Clayton 3-5 Humphries

A 120 finish from Luke Humphries to win the leg!

    Clayton 3-4 Humphries

That is more like it from Luke Humphries, who throws a 180 on his way to winning the leg.

Luke Humphries' average and stats have been good but it is all about the wins. It is not necessarily about the performance in the Premier League.
