No mistake this time from Jonny Clayton!

He hits tops to seal the win after a wayward visit from Luke Humphries, every loose dart cheered gleefully by the Cardiff crowd.

Humphries finishing let him down and Clayton was there to punish him.

One Welshman safely into the final...

That's a bit of a shocker from Jonny Clayton. He wasn't even close there!

If he had closed that leg out, it would've been good for the crowd here.

It's up to him here to make up for those two missed match-darts. He isn't one to carry too much baggage dart to dart or leg to leg, so that helps.

Two darts for the match missed by Jonny Clayton!

The Welshman was a long way away from hitting the double 16 he needed as well.

That allows Luke Humphries to come back and snatch the hold. Clayton has the darts again, though.

This match could all start going Luke Humphries way now!

He is absolutely focused on the job at hand, he didn't even look in Jonny Clayton's direction as he made his way back after taking that leg.

It is almost like he said: 'Just move out of the way.' He is only focused on his business right now, but in the best of spirits.

That's one back for Luke Humphries.

Boos from the crowd as he steps up to try and hit tops. It takes him until the third dart but the defending champion hits it.

Good comeback, started by a 180, having looked well out of it.

Jonny Clayton breaks again and looks well on his way to another final.

With Luke Humphries floundering, he misses double 14 for a 121 but has the chance to come back and get it at the second attempt.

He'll now throw for the match.

What a gift from Luke Humphries for Jonny Clayton to pull two clear!

Of the two, Humphries looks the frustrated one right now. I don't think he has given up, he has just realised the urgency.

He doesn't need to attack things in this way though, he just needs to keep going through the gears.

Missed chance for Luke Humphries and Jonny Clayton consolidates the break.

It was a really strong leg from Humphries but his finishing lets him down again.

He misses double 16 and Clayton takes out 80.

    A 10-dart leg. There's only one better!

He threatened that earlier tonight too. He did look the more engaged of the two Welsh players in the quarter-finals.

It is really nice to see crowds getting up for their players.

Brilliant from Jonny Clayton to get the break - a 10-darter.

Luke Humphries nearly denied him the chance but misses a dart at the bull for a 127 out.

Clayton then hits double eight to clinch it.

I don't know if maybe that silly end to that first leg has contributed to this demeanour from Jonny Clayton.

    All square again.

With Luke Humphries waiting on 48, Jonny Clayton eventually sees off the 40 checkout.

Misses on double 20 and double 10 before hitting double five.

Luke Humphries stared both of those targets down. He didn't look for any sort of combination there for the checkout.

That is pretty hard to do.

Clinical from Luke Humphries after a slow start to the leg.

He takes out 94 in two darts to keep it on throw.

    Humphries 1-1 Clayton

No such faffing about this time and Jonny Clayton hits double 12 to hold.

Luke Humphries had half a chance with a shot at 130 but his first dart strayed into the one and that was it.

A spectacular hold of throw, of the wrong sort!

It was so ugly in a way that I don't think Jonny Clayton will be too bothered that he didn't take that leg.

There will be some pride lost there. These guys are professionals after all.

Well... we got there in the end!

Luke Humphries' finishing was brilliant in the quarter-finals but this one goes all the way down to double one.

So many missed doubles from both players that it was hard to keep count in the end.

I think Humphries hit with his 10th!

It's a tough one to call really.

I do think the average here will be in the 100s for these two players.

Both of these guys do plenty of match-winning so you would think they had come across each other more often, but they haven't.

The crowd might be fully behind Jonny Clayton here but it doesn't stop them belting out Luke Humphries' walk-on song, I Predict A Riot.

They even get on board with the former world champion conducting them for a bit.

That's about as much support as he'll get until this match is over, though, I'd imagine...

Jonny Clayton talking to Sky Sports about his quarter-final win: "Oh my god, I felt like I was just getting worse and worse and worse. I was so nervous honestly.

"You stand behind your opponent and hope that they are going to give you another shot, but I just couldn't do anything when he gave me a shot. It was just one of those games but I'm glad I got over the line.

"Who knows what's going to happen? I've got two points in the bag so far but I might get on a few more.

"Keep shouting, keep singing, Wales are back."
