Australia well and truly on top here. This is definitely the most awkward and frustrated I've seen Laura Wolvaardt.

  2. SA 77-3published at 11 overs

    Target 173

Georgia Wareham continues to frustrate South Africa.

Another boundary-less over, just five from it. The Proteas can't afford too many more of those.

  3. SA 74-3published at 10.1 overs

Another blemish in the field! Kapp and Wolvaardt run a risky second and it's a good throw in from Phoebe Litchfield but bowler Georgia Wareham can't gather the ball cleanly at the stumps.

  4. SA 72-3published at 10 overs

    Target 173

Oh, stunning. Laura Wolvaardt's cover drive is one you could watch on loop and never get bored.

    Four more off Sutherland.

  5. SA 63-3published at 9.1 overs

    Better.

Marizanne Kapp pulls Annabel Sutherland's first ball for four.

South Africa aren't scoring anywhere near quickly enough.

  7. SA 59-3published at 9 overs

    Target 173

Ash Gardner is having a bit of a shocker on the boundary having already dropped a catch, this time fumbling through her legs which allows the batters to come through for a second.

It could be something to do with the light, as Alex mentioned. It is dark, windy and gloomy.

I was right to say that I'm more nervous than optimistic.

South Africa don't really know what to do with that number three position. I think Marizanne Kapp would do a good job.

I'm surprised the lights aren't on. It's very dark out there.

  10. SA 55-3published at 8 overs

    Target 173

Laura Wolvaardt has been starved of the strike and this is a crucial partnership between herself and the veteran all-rounder Marizanne Kapp.

Wolvaardt plays a lovely lofted drive but the ball is hurled in from the ropes by a diving Ellyse Perry.

Too full for De Klerk. She didn't really try and hit it, she was looking to dab it and manipulate the field.

That's a huge wicket for Australia.

De Klerk was in no man's land, she couldn't decide what she wanted to do.

Just as South Africa were getting themselves back in the game.

Georgia Wareham strikes at the perfect time as Nadine de Klerk is caught in two minds about whether to play off the front or back foot, and loses her off stump in the process.

She's furious with herself as she was just starting to get going.

Australia didn't finish that strongly. South Africa are still in it.

That was hit with some strength. Annabel Sutherland is just about gathering to bowl and Wolvaardt is already walking down the pitch towards her.

Somehow, Sutherland got out of the way.

A positive end to the powerplay from South Africa.

Nadine de Klerk ramps Annabel Sutherland for four before Laura Wolvaardt smashes another boundary straight past the bowler.

Despite the two early wickets, these two are ticking along nicely.

How has this transpired, Laura Wolvaardt has only faced seven balls?!

  19. SA 34-2published at 5 overs

    Target 173

An inconsistent start from Alana King as the six is followed by a wide, but obviously she should have a wicket to her name.

What?! Ash Gardner has taken some of the best chances I've ever seen in world cricket. How has she dropped that?!
