Really soft dismissal. Reyneke looking to tickle the ball into the leg side but a simple catch for Alana King.

South Africa just have not been aggressive enough really with the bat.

    Well, there goes that.

A soft dismissal, a leading edge which plops straight back to Alana King for the simplest caught and bowled chance.

    South Africa are wilting.

Australia's team selection has been spot on for this surface. You just wonder if this is the win that gets them rolling. It's an easier ride for the rest for the group stage until they face India at the end.

20-year-old Kayla Reyneke has made an explosive start to her international career and has been a great addition to South Africa's power-hitting, but she is in the side to play more of a finisher's role at the moment.

This is a monumental challenge but a big opportunity to test herself against the world's best and get herself a score, regardless of the result.

It's really disappointing for Laura Wolvaardt. The previous ball went away for six but what a fantastic catch from Georgia Wareham! She had to get down on one knee for that one.

That's a sensational low grab! South Africa's hopes seems to have diminished.

    Six and out.

Having taken a worldie of her own earlier, Laura Wolvaardt departs to a fantastic catch from Georgia Wareham.

The South African skipper marches off the pitch in anger, having got hold of another one to whack through the off side but Wareham pouches it low to the ground at cover.

We've seen some exceptional catches today.

What a shot that is! Beautifully timed by Laura Wolvaardt and a much needed boundary for South Africa.

    Finally!

Laura Wolvaardt breaks the shackles and my word, that is a stunner. Down the pitch, lofting the ball over mid-off for six.

One thing you notice when watching Australia is how good bits of fielding don't get the same big praise you might see from other teams. They treat the good as routine.

Though this is only Alana King's second T20 against South Africa, she has an amazing record in all formats against them - taking 16 wickets at an average of 10.06. That includes 7-18 in last year's World Cup.

  13. SA 88-4published at 13 overs

    Target 173

Laura Wolvaardt still has a look of steely determination on her face but Australia are really frustrating her. She's played some brilliant shots but they all seem to be finding the fielder or plugging in the outfield.

Just five from Alana King's over.

The loser of this will have the mammoth task of having to beat India to stay alive.

We've spoken about the implications for South Africa, but what about for Australia? Winning this game means that when it comes to their last one against India, they'll know exactly what they need to do.

That could be the turning point in this chase. South Africa were falling behind but anything is possible with the class of Wolvaardt and Kapp in the middle.

Chloe Tryon doesn't have the luxury of time here. She needs to go from ball one.

Kapp run out (Wareham) 12 (SA 82-4)

    Big moment.

Again, Laura Wolvaardt tries to find the boundary but the ball plugs in the outfield at mid-wicket. Georgia Wareham launches the ball in and bowler Ash Gardner does brilliantly to take the bails so quickly.

There probably was two there but Australia have switched back to their usual excellence in the field.

    Run out?

Australia think so, and the way that Marizanne Kapp lies on the floor with her head in her hands suggests that she knows she is in trouble.

It looks to me like Wolvaardt has decided that she's just going to get a move on here. She can't get to the boundary.

I just hope she doesn't do something silly here.

  20. SA 81-3published at 11.2 overs

Laura Wolvaardt tries to unleash some of her frustration on Ash Gardner, playing a couple of nice-looking drives but both of them plink in the outfield for two.
