    Surrey 520 v Leics 615-5

Another landmark for this Leicestershire pair, who have been in tandem for more than three and a half hours now.

Stephen Eskinazi took a tumble just a moment ago when he was struck 'amidships', as they used to say, by a delivery from Jordan Clark, but he's now moved into the 90s after driving one over point for four.

The Foxes' lead is now approaching 100 and surely they'll think about having another bowl at Surrey tonight?

  2. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:47 BST 12 April

    Higgins b Waite 11 (Middx 128-6 - Target 262 v Worc)

Worcestershire will hope to wrap this up today as Matthew Waite gets one through the gate of Ryan Higgins.

On commentary Roland Butcher describes it as "a jaffa".

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:46 BST 12 April

    Jones c Bashir b Chappell 0 (Lancs 351 & 23-4 v Derbys 374)

Great catch by Shoaib Bashir diving low at short midwicket and Zak Chappell has a second in three deliveries as Michael Jones lasts just two balls.

Derbys are getting more out of this pitch than Lancs did or certainly at the moment they are. And with the scores absolutely level Lancs are suddenly four down.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:44 BST 12 April

    Singh c & b Chappell 10 (Lancs 351 & 23-3 v Derbys 374)

Harry Singh has walloped a full ball back towards the bowler and Zak Chappell takes it at the third or fourth attempt after a spot of juggling.

No caught and bowled it particularly easy but he has thrown a hand out to the right and got enough for him to hang on.

  5. Back underway at Lordspublished at 16:41 BST 12 April

    Middlesex 125-5 - Target 262 v Worcestershire

Middlesex add four runs in the first over after tea and they're almost half way to their target.

Worcestershire have already completed half their task by taking five wickets and they remain favourites but it's far from being a done deal.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:40 BST 12 April

    Lehmann c Bean b van Beek 92 (Yorks 177 v Hants 251 & 314-5)

Jake Lehmann has fallen eight short of a deserved century, flicking Logan van Beek to deep backward point but picking out Finlay Bean who takes a low catch.

The Australian domestic player of the year is already looking a fine capture for Hants following 34, 9, 76 and now 92 since his move.

  7. Postpublished at 16:39 BST 12 April

    Surrey 520 v Leics 603-5

And still the Foxes keep running - or trotting, perhaps more accurately, as they pile up a score that's now in excess of 600.

Ben Cox is within sight of the highest first-class effort of his career - which currently stands at 124 - having just clipped Jordan Clark off his pads for another four.

He has 121 to his name, with partner Stephen Eskinazi on 86.

  8. rain stops play

Rain stops play in Bristolpublished at 16:38 BST 12 April

    Glos 175 & 186-8 v Durham 605-5 dec

This is not in Durham's plan as the rain comes down in shower form and the players are heading off.

BBC Radio Gloucestershire's Ed Seaborne has actually made an interesting point about whether the home side are better losing in three days to give them an extra day to prepare and try to reset before the visit of Lancashire on Friday for the next round of games.

  9. Postpublished at 16:37 BST 12 April

    Lancs 351 & 22-2 v Derbys 374

Marcus Harris has made a steady, almost sticky start with one from 22 balls but gets his first boundary off Zak Chappell.

It was oh so close to being out though, six inches away from the dive of cover.

He pounces on a leg-side delivery on the last ball from the Derbys man clipping it to the rope for a second.

  10. Back underway at Hovepublished at 16:34 BST 12 April

    Sussex 139-3 - Target 328 v Warwickshire

Last session of the third day in a match which looks like going into the fourth day.

Hughes and Leaning have resumed their fourth wicket stand which is on 71 putting Sussex in the ascendancy.

Warwickshire will hope the pattern of the match continues and one wicket is quickly followed by two or three.

It was free admission at Hove if you reserved your ticket in advance and the promotion appears to have worked with the attendance quoted at just under a thousand.

  11. Postpublished at 16:33 BST 12 April

    Yorks 177 v Hants 251 & 305-4

Could you produce a more ragged and loose over than that?

Logan van Beek has been the pick of the Yorks bowlers but this one contains two leg byes, three singles, four byes, two wides, takes nine balls and cost 13 runs.

The irony is he could have had a wicket as well as he raps Jake Lehmann on the pad sixth ball only to be called a no-ball.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:32 BST 12 April

    Taylor c Gay b Aldridge 11 (Glos 175 & 185-8 v Durham 605-5 dec)

Durham have a possible 40 overs left on day three to grab these last three wickets and they are in business after 1.2 of them.

Matt Taylor is offered width by Kasey Aldridge, but sends it straight into the hands of Emilio Gay at cover.

Nevil Road is gripped by an almost funereal silence.

  13. 50 runs

50 partnership for Compton and Northeastpublished at 16:28 BST 12 April

    Kent 178 & 63-1 v Northants 684-2 dec

In the scheme of things, with Kent still almost 450 in arrears, a stand of 50 might not seem like a big deal but credit to Ben Compton and Sam Northeast - who have at least staunched the bleeding for the home side.

Raphy Weatherall is struggling for rhythm in the early stages of his spell and this Kent pair are taking advantage.

Get Involved - Zak Crawley's strugglespublished at 16:28 BST 12 April

    #bbccricket

I don't get this online hate of Zak Crawley, you would think he's the only England player out of form, he could get 100 next game and the trolls would still be at him

    John, Whitstable

Thanks for getting in touch, John.

It is not personal with Zak Crawley, but he seems inextricably linked with England's Bazball era, which is under serious focus after events in the Ashes this winter.

That would be terrific if he scored county runs, as Jamie Smith has done, as people want to see prospective England players being judged on the volume of runs scored and wickets taken in county cricket.

  15. Postpublished at 16:25 BST 12 April

    Yorks 177 v Hants 251 & 293-4

The partnership has moved swiftly to 150 (165 balls) with Jake Lehmann on 84 and Ben Brown on 71.

Judging by the way they have started this final session they may have had a side-bet between them on who reaches three figures first.

  16. Durham in the driving seat in Bristolpublished at 16:21 BST 12 April

    Glos 175 & 183-7 v Durham 605-5 dec

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

If the light allows, there are 40 overs left of day three for Durham to try and wrap up an innings win - and in three days - against Gloucestershire.

At lunch, things didn't lok too bad for the hosts. They were following on and began their second innings a massive 430 runs behind. But Cameron Bancroft and Ben Charlesworth were batting nicely and it looked like a different game compared to their first innings.

They were 77-0 and then took that opening stand to 101 by mid-afternoon. But once Charlesworth clipped Callum Parkinson to Graham Clark at short leg, the wickets began to tumble.

101-0 became 159-7 20 overs later. At 183-7 they now don't look long for this world.

Will there be a late twist, or will Durham wrap this up before the close today?

  17. 100 runs

100 for Ben Coxpublished at 16:19 BST 12 April

    Surrey 520 v Leics 574-5

Leicestershire's Ben Cox raises his batImage source, Shutterstock

Ben Cox is grinning from ear to ear as he cuts Reece Topley to the point boundary and reaches three figures for the first time as a Leicestershire player.

It's the fifth ton of Cox's red-ball career overall and he gets there from 163 balls.

  18. Back under way at Headingleypublished at 16:19 BST 12 April

    Yorks 177 v Hants 251 & 287-4

Ben Brown (70) and Jake Lehmann (64) resume in decent sunshine with Logan van Beek 22 yards away.

The Hants skipper has a huge swipe at a slightly leg side delivery misses and so does Harry Duke behind the stumps with the ball racing down to the boundary for four byes.

They nick a single second ball then Jake Lehmann pulls in front of square for boundary then follows by despatching a low full toss over the midwicket boundary for six.

Fifth ball is bullied through cover for another and the last ball is steered down to third man for a single.

Just the 20 off the over.

It is safe to say Hants intend to be positive this session.

  19. Postpublished at 16:16 BST 12 April

    Surrey 520 v Leics 570-5

Surrey are going with a seam-spin combination after tea, with Reece Topley's left-arm pace married up to Dan Lawrence's off-breaks.

No sign of a wicket yet, with Leicestershire extending their lead to 50 - they'll surely want to at least triple that before they think about sticking the hosts in again.

  20. Tea at Lord'spublished at 16:15 BST 12 April

    Middlesex 121-5 - Target 262 v Worcestershire

Worcestershire's session with five wickets, two apiece to Tom Taylor and Olly Hannon-Dalby and one to Matthew Waite.

But Ryan Higgins and Joe Cracknell have been trying to steady Middlesex's run chase surviving seven overs to the interval. They've only added three runs but with four sessions to go why rush?
