  2. Lunch at the Ovalpublished at 13:05 BST 10 June

    Surrey 421 & 259-5 v Hampshire 333

Sonny Baker gives up three singles to make it 200 Surrey runs in this morning session. Blimey.

Two more singles follow before a wide ball which is not called a wide.

    The session is over.

    202-2 in the session.

    The lead is 347.

Dom Sibley has batted through the morning to bring up a classy century while Dan Lawrence smote 101 from 64 balls to write his name further into the club record books as just the third player behind Mark Ramprakash in 2010 and Scott Newman five years earlier to post a double-century and a hundred in the same game - it's his fifth of the summer and he's in the form of his life.

413 runs against Hampshire in two formats in three knocks since Friday night.

Expect a declaration to come and for Surrey to try to prise out 10 Hampshire wickets in the final two sessions to secure a win which would take them top of Division One.

What a great hundred this has been from Dominic Sibley.

I think he's enjoyed that one. Lovely way to do it, six and four.

    Surrey 421 & 253-3 v Hampshire 333

He's done it. Dom Sibley drives through the covers and splits the two fielders to reach his century.

From 138 balls with seven fours and two sixes. His third ton of the summer.

Not far off a perfect morning for Surrey.

  5. 6 runs

for Sam Curran and Dom Sibleypublished at 12:57 BST 10 June

    Surrey 421 & 249-5 v Hampshire 333

Almighty pull shot from Sam Curran off Delano Potgieter over the long square leg boundary.

Dom Sibley put him on strike with a single off the first ball. Selfless of him.

Curran returns him to the crease with another single and Sibley swivels to pull another short ball for SIX

    He's on to 97*... there's time...

  6. Postpublished at 12:54 BST 10 June

    Surrey 421 & 235-5 v Hampshire 333

Sonny Baker sends down three dot balls before Sam Curran picks up a single to extra cover.

Dom Sibley can't connect with the first ball down the leg side, which narrowly misses leg stump but a leg bye keeps him on strike from the final ball.

  7. Postpublished at 12:50 BST 10 June

    Surrey 421 & 233-5 v Hampshire 333

Dom Sibley top-edges Delano Potgieter over keeper Ben Brown to pick up a couple and then crunches the last ball to the backward point rope for four to reach 90*.

I fear he might be left high and dry here... unless he can hurry up.

321 is the lead. Nine minutes until lunch. Sibley off strike.

Don't get too excited about Lawrence's (remarkable) scores... This is amongst the poorest Hampshire sides I've seen (I'm in my 70s).

    Samuraibrian, Southampton

Well, they have managed to get a lot of other good players out relatively cheaply this week.

Dan Lawrence has scored 319 runs - almost exactly half of his side's total across two innings.

I just wonder if that was always the plan [to bat until lunch] and they've stuck to it.

But I am quite surprised they haven't given themselves 10 or 15 minutes at Hampshire before lunch because I am sure they are ahead of their target.

  10. Postpublished at 12:46 BST 10 June

    Surrey 421 & 226-5 v Hampshire 333

Lunch is fixed at 13:00 BST. If Surrey declare then they would at least buy an extra two overs to try and pick up some wickets.

First boundary for a while as Dom Sibley steps into the leg side to cut past point to move into the 80s.

Seven off the over, as well as Pope's wicket.

Sam Curran has two singles from his two balls and retains strike.

    The lead is 314.

It may be that Rory Burns has declared but Sam Curran loves batting so much that he's come out to have a hit.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:42 BST 10 June

    Pope c Prest b Baker 1 (Surrey 421 & 219-5 v Hampshire 333)

Full-toss from Sonny Baker and Ollie Pope has holed-out to the deep square rope where Tom Prest was lurking.

Surrey continue to twist rather than stick, with a lead of 307 and Sam Curran heading out with less than 70 overs left in the game.

Looks like they want to try and bowl Hampshire out in two sessions.

    Kevan James

We've witnessed some history. If you tag on that T20 innings, it's been an unbelievable few days for Dan Lawrence.

I don't think I'll get that name out of my head for a while.

If I was Surrey, I would have backed ourselves for 20 minutes at Hampshire before lunch.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:38 BST 10 June

    Lawrence c Brown b Potgieter 101 (Surrey 421 & 218-4 v Hampshire 333)

    It's all over.

Delano Potgieter is brought into the attack and gets his old foe Dan Lawrence with his third delivery, tempting Lawrence into an outside edge into the gloves of Ben Brown.

The second Surrey man to make a century and a double century in the same match, and the first since Mark Ramprakash 16 years ago.

What an impact he has made this week.

The lead is 306 and Ollie Pope will head out to try to build on it.

  15. 'What an innings'published at 12:35 BST 10 June

    Surrey 421 & 217-3 v Hampshire 333

    Mark Church

There must be some England batters in very good form at the moment to be keeping this fella out.

What an innings again from Dan Lawrence. He's just strolled out there and taken it absolutely by the scruff of the neck.

This is nothing against the Hampshire bowlers but at the minute, they can't bowl at him because he just plays such ridiculous shots.

  16. 100 runs

for Dan Lawrencepublished at 12:34 BST 10 June

    Surrey 421 & 216-3 v Hampshire 333

    Yes.

Dan Lawrence has a second century of the game, from 62 balls in just over an hour at the crease, clipping a single to deep square off Sonny Baker.

Seven fours. Five sixes. One rich vein of form.

Are you watching Rob and Brendon?

  17. Postpublished at 12:33 BST 10 June

    Surrey 421 & 215-3 v Hampshire 333

Dom Sibley gets off strike with a single squirted short of point back in his crease off a Sonny Baker yorker.

Dan Lawrence moves to 99* with a clip to fine leg from Baker's fourth ball.

Sibley uppercuts a bouncer to third for a single to bring Lawrence onto strike for the final ball of the over... is this it?

You have to say that Surrey really have dominated the play this morning. A reminder that they started the day 57-2.

It's been entertaining stuff, it really has.

  19. Postpublished at 12:31 BST 10 June

    Surrey 421 & 212-3 v Hampshire 333

Dan Lawrence made 94* from 47 balls on Friday, 218 from 190 on Sunday and has 98* from 60 on Wednesday.

Better than a Craig David song, that...

    410 from 297.

    Crazy.

Dan Lawrence cuts a single off James Fuller to deep cover to reach 96 from 58 balls before Dom Sibley runs it to third for another.

Lawrence manages to stretch to glance a wide-one from Fuller away for another one before Sibley clips through the leg side for a fourth straight single.

Lawrence glances away a short ball to third to reach 98* from the penultimate ball before Sibley does likewise to keep strike.

    The lead is 300.
