Archer's got him again! Sooryavanshi sent the ball high and it was the simplest of catches for Sam Curran.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi got away with one earlier in the over - a skied hoick landing safely between a couple of fielders in the leg side - but not a second time!

The 15-year-old holes out for 15, caught by Sam Curran inside the circle. He's fallen to Jofra Archer in back-to-back innings.

India should have played Sooryavanshi here in Belfast to give him the two-match acclimatisation he obviously needed.

They had the fielder there but they moved him, so Sooryavanshi knew exactly what he was doing. It would have been a catch for a conventional third man position.

Abhishek Sharma smacks Josh Tongue's opening delivery for the first boundary of the day, going inside-out for a one-bounce four over extra cover.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi also opens his boundary account, picking a gap between mid-off and extra cover.

And he goes back-to-back, finishing the over with a six - a delicate flick over third. Lovely.

    15 off the over.

That was not the most convincing pull shot from Sooryavanshi. He knows what's coming from Jofra Archer, it's another matter dealing with it.

  8. Ind 5-0published at 1 over

A slightly cautious start from India as Jofra Archer welcomes them to Bristol with a bit of shorter stuff.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi tries to get hold of Archer's fourth delivery but his pull isn't timed and he has to settle for two, Adil Rashid chasing hard in the deep.

Josh Tongue will bowl the second over.

Shreyas Iyer has been under a bit of fire. What supporters of the India side need to understand is this a side inexperienced in these conditions. They don't bat as deep as they once did. The batting has been the common thread across these five matches - the batting didn't fire.

The players are out in the middle.

India won the toss and elected to bat - they'll be hoping for a much-improved performance after being skittled for 76 in a record-breaking defeat at Trent Bridge on Tuesday.

They'll be hoping for fireworks from Abhishek Sharma and wonderkid Vaibhav Sooryavanshi at the top of the order. The 15-year-old clubbed a handful of sixes across his past two outings but is yet to ignite on the international stage.

Teenager Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has set another record by becoming the youngest player to feature for India.

He was just 15 years and 99 days old when he took to the field in India's second T20 of their ongoing series against England, breaking the long held record of Sachin Tendulkar, who made his debut in a Test against Pakistan aged 16 years and 205 days in 1989.

Alison Mitchell, Sunil Gupta and Brett Sprigg have been discussing whether he's lived up to the hype on the Stumped podcast.

India captain Shreyas Iyer: "It definitely is a must-win game and we're going to play like that. We saw the fearlessness that we saw in the first two games, but we've not been able to execute as planned. It is a fresh day and fresh start and the boys are in high spirits.

"We have to read the environment and have the awareness of the way the game is going and we need to adapt to the wicket and which way the wind is blowing. We need to be up to the mark and if these things are solid, we'll get the result.

"The surface looks good - it has a decent amount of grass. We'll have a look how it plays from the first ball."

  16. Postpublished at 17:24 BST 9 July

England captain Harry Brook: "We would have won the toss and batted. It looks a very good surface. An even spread of grass. We'll see how it plays.

"We played awesome [in the third T20I]. We adapted well to the conditions. It was a very good team performance.

"The beauty of this side - we've got so many good players in the XI. Everyone can contribute."
