India need boundaries badly. England love a single and they're not too bothered by a two.

That's been the story of India's batting. He started coming down early and I've got a feeling Tongue sensed him coming and banged in a short ball, didn't give him room. He tried to guide him but it looped up. An innings that promised much with that pick-up six has ended.

    Gone from the following delivery!

A slower bouncer down leg from Josh Tongue - Tilak Varma tried to ramp it but managed to send the ball to Rehan Ahmed at backward point.

India's late-innings advance stopped in its tracks.

It was effortless. He just helped it on its way, off the middle of the bat.

Goodness me, that's hit one of the flats up there - three floors up! It's the biggest hit of the night.

I think there is a hangover from the last match - bowled out for 76, can't let that happen again.

A confident side would brush off losing three or four wickets, play their normal game with 200 still on. I don't think they can do that. That would be some change of tempo.

Superb deception from England’s off-spinner, with a 19 kph drop from the ball before from Jacks to dismiss Dube.

This also resulted in an extra 3.0° of spin off the pitch to deceive the left-hander.

It was his slowest ball of the day.

A tidy over from Will Jacks, just five singles from it.

He's finished with figures of 1-28.

That's been launched into the crowd! That's Shreyas Iyer's 50 as well. What a way to bring it up. He has been the glue today that has held the Indian batting line-up together.

A feature of this innings is when Iyer's batting, he hasn't tried to hit the ball too hard, but he's timed it brilliantly. Better off doing that than trying to whack it.

    Fifty up with a six!

Having struck the opening ball from Adil Rashid for four past point, Shreyas Iyer brings up his half-century with a pulled six behind square off the over's penultimate delivery.

Having reached the landmark off 33 balls, he adds a single to retain the strike.

The live score forecast - India are set to get in the region of 166 which you think would be well below par on this pitch.

It's not the biggest of grounds but over towards long-on is quite a mighty hit, even for Shivam Dube.

  19. Ind 103-4published at 14 overs

After India lost three wickets in 6.4 overs, Shreyas Iyer and Shivam Dube stuck together to make a not especially hasty 53 off 43 deliveries.

As they did at Trent Bridge, India have lost wickets to skiers today - including that of 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

Meanwhile, Tilak Varma comes to the crease and cuts his first ball for two.

That's the wicket I was talking about. Closed the bat face, leading edge, well judged by Banton.

Something had to give and unfortunately for India, it's the wicket of Shivam Dube.
