It's not got the legs, Banton takes the catch. He's been in the thick of it the last few balls and he finally gets his reward.

Dube is on his way for a pain-staking 22.

    Three, two, wicket.

Shreyas Iyer and Shivam Dube bring up the 50 partnership and then their side's 100 with shots into the deep that are cut off from the ropes by some fine fielding by Jacob Bethell and Tom Banton.

Dube goes for a big heave off the next ball from Will Jacks and drops another skier into the hands of Banton at long-off.

He departs for 22 from 23 balls.

Ideally, even on this surface, you still need to get to the 100-mark by the 13th over.

I think this over [bowled by Will Jacks] is a big over. Either a wicket or a six, certainly.

Ha, yeah, pitching outside leg - Sam Curran was walking back to his mark after the first replay.

Having survived the appeal, Shreyas Iyer turns the final ball of the over to mid-wicket for a single - Shivam Dube picked up four through that area earlier in the over.

Unless Shreyas has walked onto the off-stump, this looks highly unlikely. To me, it was pitched outside leg. I didn't notice Shreyas walk across.

Shreyas Iyer is clipped on the leg side of his front pad with a full delivery.

This doesn't look an especially likely wicket, but England are punting a review.

  7. Ind 87-3published at 12 overs

Will Jacks starts with a leg-side wide and appears to have conceded another one later in the over.

Nothing signalled from the umpire and Shivam Dube looks rather incredulous.

That was the loopy one, slower in the air. Shreyas was up for it. Good use of the feet. That's something not many modern players do any more to the spinners. He's a bit old school.

Six way back into the crowd! A much better shot from Shreyas Iyer, getting to the pitch of the ball and playing with the spin. It's turned out to be a decent over for India.

Interesting tactic from Brook to use the fast bowlers so much in the first 10 overs. Looking for wickets is positive but it could haunt England in the second half when spinners have to bowl most of them.

    Clouted!

Adil Rashid takes us out of the drinks break and Shreyas Iyer dances down the pitch to the final delivery of the spinner's over, lifting the ball over the long-off boundary for six.

Shivam Dube has dominated Adil Rashid in their previous meetings in T20s.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen an Indian side be so unsure of themselves when batting. Ireland softened them up for us.

Shreyas Iyer needs to bat until the 17th, 18th over while the others bat around him and play a few more shots.

    Thanks Elizabeth.

This pair have put on 23, India will be hoping Shreyas Iyer and Shivam Dube put together the sort of partnership they've been sorely lacking in this series.

This is what I want to see more of from the India batters. Less crouched, more upright in their stance. They haven't been able to get on top of the ball.

  18. Ind 71-3published at 10 overs

    Iyer 24 (20), Dube 10 (10)

Oooooh Shivam Dube rides his luck, inside-edging and watching the ball slam into the ground just next to his off-stump.

As so often happens, the next ball goes away to the rope, Dube cutting through the covers for four.

Seven off the over takes India to 71-3 at the halfway mark.

India’s batting average in the first 10 overs of each innings this series is just 19.8. This is the lowest of any T20I series in history for India (min. three matches).
