Make that five wickets for 33 runs!

Brydon Carse is on a hat-trick, removing Nathan Lyon with a straight delivery going on to hit middle and leg.

Australia have plenty of reviews, so Lyon sends it upstairs, but he doesn't seem to believe the decision will be overturned, and indeed it isn't.

Well bowled England. They have bowled better lengths. It feels a bit more like old school bowling.

Ridiculous though it may sound, a victory is still just feasible. This could be the finest hour for Bazball. Maybe I should go to bed.

    • Tongue 56% (2-11)
    • Stokes 33% (1-26)
    • Carse 26% (0-27)

I would be fuming if I was Josh Tongue. You get the new ball, you're looking at the skip saying, 'Right, can I have a try?'

He is called the mop for a reason. He has done the hard work. You would be upset.

The new ball won’t worry Australia’s tail.

Australia’s 8-11 have faced 113 deliveries with the second new ball being 10 overs or newer in this series.

Collectively they have scored 62 runs for the loss of just a single wicket.

Mitchell Starc gets off the mark by absolutely steaming into Jofra Archer's penultimate delivery.

He gets a lot of air on his shot and the ball plugs out at deep mid-wicket, with the batters running two.

Incidentally, in Josh Tongue's previous over Australia's lead passed 418 - so England would now need the highest successful chase in Test cricket to win this match.

Yes, that's just clipping Mitchell Starc's shirt.

England lose a review - they have one remaining.

And has Jofra Archer got a wicket with his second delivery?

He fires a ball down the leg side, close to Mitchell Starc's back, and the Australia seamer vaguely chases it.

There's some sort of noise, so England are going to take a look.

I want a new cherry in my hand for my bowlers. I want an orthodox field, I want my bowlers to hit the top of off stump, hit the channels and nick them off.

  20. new ball

    Aus 335-7published at 80 overs

    Lead by 420

New batter Mitchell Starc defends the last delivery with the old ball.

As you'd expect, England don't delay taking the new cherry and Jofra Archer is going to replace Ben Stokes to have a crack with it.

His first over of the day, having taken 0-15 in 60 balls yesterday.
