    Somerset 225-4 v Sussex

A mixed over from Tom Haines, who drifts to leg and Tom Abell glances fine for four.

He adjusts his line and Abell defends into the off side.

The fourth ball is a play and miss outside off stump.

Fynn Hudson-Prentice is short and wide at the other end to Archie Vaughan, who flays the ball through point off the back foot for four.

    Lancs v Worcs 203-7

A brilliant uppercut from Beyers Swanepoel goes over the slip cordon and down to third man for four to bring up Worcestershire's 200.

    Gohar c Jewell b Aitchison 24 (Middx 149-8 v Derbys)

Zafar Gohar flirts with a wide one and Caleb Jewell takes a sharp catch at second slip.

That's four wickets now for Ben Aitchison and Toby Roland-Jones comes out to join Eathan Bosch, who is 16 not out.

    Yorkshire 196-4 v Surrey

The very best of Jonny Bairstow.

The Yorkshire captain shows his pure strength by seemingly effortlessly picking up Sean Abbott and flicking over square leg for six.

A supremely timed shot by Bairstow as Yorkshire near 200.

    Kent 221-1 v Durham

Magnificent - 19-year-old Ben Dawkins dabs Kasey Aldridge down to third man for four and reaches a maiden first-class hundred off 178 balls. With Ben Compton out of action at the moment because of a finger injury, this is exactly what Kent needed from the tall Johannesburg-born batter.

His stand with Sam Northeast is now worth 164 on a pitch which is offering very little indeed to the Durham attack.

Kent building a big score however means Durham get a bigger one. Will end up a dull draw.

    Somerset 216-4 v Sussex

Archie Vaughan is off the mark second ball with a clip to leg off Haines.

    Over bowled.

Fynn Hudson-Prentice starts a new spell at the other end, conceding just a single to Vaughan off the over.

Sussex are getting back into this game after dislodging James Rew.

100 up for Hampshirepublished at 15:22 BST 15 May

    Hampshire 102-5 v Notts

It has not been a straightforward day's play for hosts Hampshire by any means today, but they have grittily reached three figures shortly after the resumption following the rain delay.

Debutant Delano Potgieter enthusiastically cuts Josh Tongue away for through backward point.

He and Ben Brown have put on 17 since the departure of Nick Gubbins before the delay.

    Yorkshire 185-4 v Surrey

Lovely drive through the covers from Adam Lyth means he moves onto 67*.

Yorkshire's fifth-wicket stand is now worth 64 with 43 overs in the day still remaining.

Surrey captain Rory Burns will probably want one more wicket before tea - which is due in approximately 20 minutes time - after winning the toss and putting Yorkshire into bat this morning.

    Rew c Coles b Haines 86 (Somerset 214-4 v Sussex)

Tom Haines is round the wicket to James Rew, who crunches the ball through mid on for four.

Out! A full ball just outside off stump and Rew slices a drive to James Coles in the deep.

It had felt luck his luck was in this afternoon after surviving a couple of chances and batting with increasing authority afterwards.

Now Archie Vaughan will have a bat.

    Kent 209-1 v Durham

Ben Dawkins has a white-ball century for Kent and a bit of limited-overs ball-striking, as he lofts Callum Parkinson down the ground for six, carries him to 96 not out and within one hit of his first three-figure score in the Championship.

  11. Back underway at Southamptonpublished at 15:13 BST 15 May

    Hampshire 96-5 v Notts

We go again on the south coast, where rain delays have disrupted and restructured the day so far, but the two sides return to the field of play with Notts hunting more wickets and Hampshire in need of a sixth-wicket partnership which frustrates the reigning champions.

  12. Postpublished at 15:13 BST 15 May

    Kent v Durham 200-1

Ben Stokes digs one in from round the wicket, but Ben Dawkins tucks it away off his hip for a single as the Kent total reaches 200. Stokes has now bowled 10 overs at a cost of 42 runs - but he does have the wicket of Zak Crawley to show for his efforts.

  13. Postpublished at 15:13 BST 15 May

    Somerset 210-3 v Sussex

Four runs to James Rew, flicking a leg stump ball from Ollie Robinson through mid wicket for four - and that's the Somerset 200 in the 56th over.

Robinson overcompensates and the next ball is driven through the off side for four more.

Rew is squared up and gets a leading edge albeit safely into the off side for one. He's on 82.

A leg side ball to Tom Abell runs away for four byes and it feels like this game is slipping away from Sussex at this point.

Taylor lbw Coughlin 41 (Lancs v Worcs 175-7)

Full and straight does the trick for Lancashire!

It's the dangerous Tom Taylor that has to go this time. He looks to whip one away into the leg side but misses out and the ball slams his pads bang in front - Taylor's 41 came off just 42 deliveries.

Worcestershire's seventh wicket partnership was worth 68. New man in, making his Pears debut, Beyers Swanepoel.

Ooh! Tom Abell plays James Coles into the off side and James Rew is two thirds of the way down the pitch to take a run.

He aborts just in time and dives at full stretch to make his ground before the return throw.

    Phew. As you were.

What is happening at Edgbaston, 0 - 2 and now Glamorgan playing incredible cricket????

    Prit, Harpenden

Bears have been too passive after a strong start. Also not quick enough to change tactics, so it's been very easy for Kellaway & Carlson. Bowling first seemed the right thing this morning, but come 11:30 that advantage had gone.

    Dave, Edgbaston

As you quite rightly say in your commentary, Rob Yates is normally a pretty good second slip and takes his share of spectacular catches. I think Warwickshire will regret him dropping Kiran Carlson who tends to score big if he gets in as Hampshire can confirm.

Runs beginning to flow once more for Worcestershire.

A punch into the off side through the covers as Tom Taylor moves onto 38 not out off just 36 balls - a dangerous looking counter-attack from the Pears right-hander.

We will now see a bit of spin as Chris Green comes on to replace Jimmy Anderson.

Kiran Carlson has just scored his first run in over half an hour and 24 deliveries, after dabbing Beau Webster off the hips and into the leg-side.

The runs have not flowed quite as much for Glamorgan in this most recent passage of play and that is largely down to the control of Webster and Oliver Hannon-Dalby, who has assumed responsibility from the other end.

Carlson is on 71 and partner Ben Kellaway on 72.

Big appeal from Adam Thomas and he thinks he's trapped Adam Lyth leg before but the umpire shakes his head.

Nevertheless, a maiden over from Thomas.
