    Somerset 182-3 v Sussex

Ollie Robinson is on for his first spell in the afternoon session of play.

Tom Abell shoulders arms as the ball only just passes a tad wide and over the line of off stump.

Robinson pushes the ball out a bit wider and that's a more comfortable leave from Abell.

A couple of full, straighter balls are defended into the off side.

    Maiden over.

A bit of away swing from Nick Potts temps Harry Duke into an airy drive and he is caught behind. Another batsman departs in large part because of negligible footwork.

  3. Postpublished at 14:56 BST 15 May

    Yorkshire 162-4 v Surrey

Jonny Bairstow has added stability to the Yorkshire innings following Harry Brook's dismissal and his partnership with Adam Lyth is now worth 41.

  4. Postpublished at 14:53 BST 15 May

    Somerset 182-3 v Sussex

James Coles is bowling round the wicket to the other James (Rew) - who plays safely to Tom Clark in the leg side.

The fourth ball is well wide of leg stump and disappears for four byes.

  6. Postpublished at 14:51 BST 15 May

    Middx 117-6 v Derbys

    Attritional stuff at Lord's.

There has only been one boundary since Harry Duke and Zafar Gohar came together for Middlesex - and that was a thick edge past the slips by Gohar.

Martin Andersson and Nick Potts now bowling in tandem for Derbyshire as they press for another breakthrough.

Luis Reece and England's Shoaib Bashir have yet to be used by the visitors.

150 up for Glamorganpublished at 14:48 BST 15 May

    Glamorgan 153-2 v Warwickshire

Be honest, you did not see this scorecard coming at 0-2, did you?

Another milestone is passed by Glamorgan pair Ben Kellaway and Kiran Carlson who, at the time of posting, are both on 70 not out.

It is bright in Birmingham and looks ideal for batting - conditions Glamorgan are exploiting.

    Gloucs 99-6 v Northants

That's the second rain delay after a brief stoppage in the morning session.

Will Williams has been through the wars somewhat after facing a few nasty bumpers from Harry Conway, but he survives on seven not out.

Ollie Price has battled through 99 balls and is unbeaten on 32

  10. Postpublished at 14:45 BST 15 May

    Somerset 173-3 v Sussex

Tom Abell sees out the Carson over and James Rew has another near miss.

Left arm spinner James Coles draws James Rew forward, who edges just past first slip at around knee height for a couple of streaky runs.

He moves on to 62. Single off the next ball.

    Lancs v Worcs 138-6

Worcestershire have recuperated since losing their sixth wicket.

Tom Taylor picks up George Balderson's first delivery of his 14th over and sends it towards the train tracks for the first six of the day.

The box of balls is out - we'll need a replacement cherry after that one.

    Kent 176-1 v Durham

    Sam NortheastImage source, Getty Images

Sam Northeast's last six innings for Kent brought him scores of 3, 7, 28, 4, 2 and 4, so he'll be delighted with this 50 - his third of the season and first since the second round of matches this season.

He reaches it off 74 balls by punching one from Ben Stokes to backward point for four.

Northeast made 94 against Durham at the Riverside in the opening game of the season, Kent would love him to exceed that today.

  13. Postpublished at 14:43 BST 15 May

    Kent 170-1 v Durham

Ben Dawkins sweeps Callum Parkinson's left-arm spin. He doesn't make a clean contact but picks up four runs to fine leg via the gloves. He is now 76 not out.

Tattersall lbw Mulder 8 (Essex v Leics 196-5)

Whatever words Chris Silverwood said to his Essex players at lunchtime have clearly done the trick.

There goes another one as Jonathan Tattersall is leg-before to Wiaan Mulder - who finally has an appeal upheld.

Lammonby st Simpson b Carson 73 (Somerset 170-3 v Sussex)

But now Tom Lammonby is gone! He's deceived by a shorter, wider ball from Jack Carson.

Lammonby is lured out of the crease, beaten on the inside edge as he tries to reach the ball and stumped by keeper John Simpson.

    Tom Abell's turn to bat.

Get Involvedpublished at 14:39 BST 15 May

Looking at the comments re Brook. Personally I've never thought of him as a Test batsman, maybe Bethell or Rew could be slotted into the line up instead of him. That way he can concentrate on the One Day stuff.

    Ian, Wellingborough

Name a more iconic duo than Harry Brook and soft dismissal.

    Alwyn, Crumlin

Comments noted, but HB does have a Test average of 54, which suggests he is well above 'average'.

  18. 6 runs

Rew on the attackpublished at 14:38 BST 15 May

    Somerset 170-2 v Sussex

Shot! more punishment for Jack Carson, as James Rew moves forward to loft the ball down the ground for six runs.

Rew gets a single off the next ball to advance to 60.

  19. rain stops play

Rain stops play at Southamptonpublished at 14:37 BST 15 May

    Hampshire 96-5 v Notts

They have tried their best at Southampton to work around the weather, having taken an early lunch in order to bypass as much of the rain as possible, but sadly it has returned and the covers are coming back on.

  20. 50 runs

50 for Adam Lythpublished at 14:37 BST 15 May

    Yorkshire 146-4 v Surrey

A wonderful shot over the top of the mid-wicket fielder sees Adam Lyth move past 50.

A terrific knock from the left-handed opener who has seen partners come and go today as the floodlights come on at Headingley.
