    Notts 415 v Surrey 410-8

Ollie Pope plays out the last four balls of the session from Liam Patterson-White and Surrey go to tea just five runs behind.

Pope has nine, Dan Worrall is at the other end on three - and Reece Topley is the man to come after being approved as a concussion replacement for Gus Atkinson.

  3. Tea at Chelmsfordpublished at 15:57 BST 10 May

    Essex 273 & 30-1 v Hants 235 & 214

So Essex need another 147 with nine second innings wickets remaining which makes them firm favourites at tea on day three.

Kyle Abbott has made the one breakthrough in the hosts second innings, removing the dangerous Paul Walter when he was just starting to let loose.

Liam Dawson has introduced a little control and beaten the bat a couple of times although he has gone for six in two overs.

Big first hour coming up after tea.

  4. Tea at Edgbastonpublished at 15:56 BST 10 May

    Warwickshire 147 & 553-6 v Yorkshire 152

A six from Jordan Thompson takes us to tea with the hosts leading by 548.

  5. WORCS ALL OUT - DURHAM NEED 143 TO WINpublished at 15:55 BST 10 May

    Darley c Bedingham v Stokes 5 (Worcs 308 & 102 v Durham 268)

Ben Stokes finishes off the Worcestershire innings - and that is a remarkable collapse by the home side!

The Pears were 53 without loss and have shed 10 wickets for just 49 runs this afternoon.

Callum Parkinson finishes with 5-13 in 10 overs, while Stokes and Kasey Aldridge collect two wickets apiece.

And Durham will resume after tea, chasing 143 for victory.

  6. Tea at Sophia Gardenspublished at 15:55 BST 10 May

    Glamorgan 80-0 v Somerset (target 283)

Whisper it quietly, but Glamorgan are definitely still in this one, and the pendulum has swung again this afternoon.

Zain ul Hassan (35*) and Asa Tribe (35*) have given the hosts hope after they finished off the Somerset tail end with the second ball after lunch.

203 runs still required, but never say never, especially if one of both of these two can get well beyond half a century.

  7. 100 runs

100 up for Worcestershirepublished at 15:53 BST 10 May

    Worcs 308 & 102-9 v Durham 268

Cheers from the New Road faithful as Harry Darley leg-glances Callum Parkinson and picks up three runs to lift the home side's total into three figures.

These runs could yet be precious, with Worcestershire now leading by 142 - and if they could eke out another 30 or so, we might be in for an exciting run chase.

  8. Glamorgan in pursuit of 283published at 15:45 BST 10 May

    Glam 229 ao & 73-0 v Som 354 ao & 157 ao

    Grace Ballinger
The Blaze and Manchester Super Giants seamer

Glamorgan's Asa Tribe and Zain ul Hassan have made a flourishing start in the fourth innings, Glamorgan are 72 without loss.

Tribe just played a glorious shot down the ground off Pretorius for four, and will be looking to capitalise after being dropped by James Rew off Craig Overton.

James Rew will be hoping to see the back of Tribe soon!

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:44 BST 10 May

    Clark st Verreynne b Patterson-White 54 (Notts 415 v Surrey 405-8)

Liam Patterson-White has put in a good shift for Nottinghamshire and he gains his first reward of the day, luring Jordan Clark down the track.

Clark misses, Kyle Verreynne snaps the ball up and takes off the bails - and now Surrey have Dan Worrall on his way to the middle with the deficit down to just 10.

However, the visitors will have another batting option when the next wicket falls - because Reece Topley has now been approved as a concussion replacement for Gus Atkinson.

  10. Postpublished at 15:44 BST 10 May

    Essex 24-1 Target: 177

Liam Dawson is into the attack as Codi Yusuf gets the shepherd's crook. Given how Simon Harmer made Hants uncomfortable in Hants second innings this might be a decent ploy.

  11. 150 runs

150 for Sam Hainpublished at 15:43 BST 10 May

    Warwickshire 147 & 533-6 v Yorkshire 152

The runs keep on coming for Sam Hain and Warwickshire...

This is Hain's highest score of the season and he has more than 400 runs for the season now.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:41 BST 10 May

    Walter c Brown b Abbott 17 (Essex 20-1 Target: 177)

Paul Walter is looking to turn this into the on side but he plays inside the line and edges high to Ben Brown behind the stumps.

That was needed by the visitors who were starting to leak runs against the big opener.

  13. Postpublished at 15:37 BST 10 May

    Essex 20-0 Target: 177

Paul Walter and Dean Elgar have endured a couple of uncomfortable moments.

But the former is settling into things and has just produced a crunching cover drive off Codi Yusuf.

Now another powerful stroke off the back foot as Walter beats Dawson at cover again.

Three through midwicket off the last ball and 11 off the over which is not what Hants need.

  14. Five-wicket haul for Callum Parkinsonpublished at 15:34 BST 10 May

    Roderick c McKinney b Parkinson 15 (Worcs 308 & 91-9 v Durham 268)

Callum Parkinson completes his first five-wicket haul of the season as Gareth Roderick holes out to long on!

It's the eighth of his career and this one has overseen an astonishing collapse by Worcestershire.

Harry Darley is at the crease now with Jack Home - and the Pears could do with another last-wicket stand from these two.

  15. 50 runs

50 for Cameron Bancroftpublished at 15:34 BST 10 May

    Gloucestershire 325 & 123-4 v Kent 327

Four of the top five gone for Gloucestershire to start their second innings in a tight contest with Kent, by the visitors haven't been able to get through Cameron Bancroft, who gets to a well-deserved half century.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:29 BST 10 May

    Taylor lbw b Stokes 0 (Worcs 308 & 91-8 v Durham 268)

Ben Stokes comes on to bowl - and takes a wicket with his second delivery!

Tom Taylor is trapped in front and Worcestershire are eight down.

Could Stokes find himself batting tonight as Durham chase a target?

  17. Yorkshire break Warwickshire partnershippublished at 15:28 BST 10 May

    Warks 147 ao & 510-6 v Yorks 152 ao, Warks lead by 505

Yorkshire finally break the partnership between Sam Hain and Zen Malik, the later departing for 57.

A bit of hope for the Yorkshire side, who have had, it's probably fair to say, a tough day out at Edgbaston.

They have conceded 68 boundaries, and two of their bowlers currently have an economy of over five an over.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:28 BST 10 May

    Malik c Bean b Bess 57 (Warwickshire 147 & 509-6 v Yorkshire 152)

Zen Malik tries to send one over the rope but is caught in the deep to bring his innings to an end.

Malik and Sam Hain, unbeaten on 148, added 116 runs for that sixth wicket.

  19. 50 runs

50 for Jordan Clarkpublished at 15:28 BST 10 May

    Notts 415 v Surrey 401-7

Ollie Pope is just playing the supporting role for now - well, he is in at 10 after all - as Jordan Clark progresses to his second half-century of the season.

Clark carved Olly Stone for six on the off side to reach 49, but he had to wait a while for the next run - or four, actually, off Liam Patterson-White to get him past 50 from 68 balls.

  20. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 15:23 BST 10 May

    Glamorgan 55-0 (target 283)

The first real chance for Somerset to break down the hosts. Asa Tribe edges a Craig Overton delivery through to James Rew, but the wicketkeeper can't hold.

A big chance gone, will it prove crucial?
