  1. 50 runs

50 for Ben McKinneypublished at 17:25 BST 10 May

    Worcs v Durham 84-1 (target 143)

Durham batter Ben McKinneyImage source, Shutterstock

Ben McKinney's keen to get back on the coach, it seems.

The Durham left-hander has raced to his half-century from 44 balls, having carted Harry Darley for successive fours in the previous over and the Division Two leaders need another 59 to complete victory.

It's the fourth time McKinney has passed 50 this season.

  2. Leicestershire slowly building a leadpublished at 17:24 BST 10 May

    Sussex 430 v Leics 328 & 152-4 - Leics lead by 50

Jonny Tattersall and Stephen Eskinazi are building a steady partnership on this gloomy Sunday evening at Hove.

Tattersall has played watchfully for his unbeaten half-century, as Eskinazi builds his innings alongside him.

Whilst Sussex will be frustrated at the lack of wickets, Leicestershire are barely getting away, with the run rate below three an over.

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:18 BST 10 May

    Hameed b Abbott 12 (Notts 415 & 19-1 v Surrey 449)

Off stump goes flying as Sean Abbott strikes!

Abbott got that one to straighten a bit and foxed Haseeb Hameed - and the Nottinghamshire captain is heading back to the dressing-room.

Ben Duckett passes him on the way, with Notts still 15 runs behind.

  4. Postpublished at 17:17 BST 10 May

    Worcs v Durham 70-1 (target 143)

Ben McKinney is racing along now on 39 from 38 balls and he's just pulled Harry Darley for another four through midwicket.

Both McKinney and Emilio Gay, of course, are being mentioned in Test despatches at the moment and it'd be hard to argue if either of them gained selection. Or maybe even both?!

Durham are almost halfway to their target and it's looking like a straightforward task at the moment.

  5. Postpublished at 17:11 BST 10 May

    Essex 75-3 (Target: 177)

Scott Currie is bowling loose with his first two overs after tea going for 13 and Hants can ill afford too many of these sorts of overs.

With Codi Yusuf on at the other end going at five an over the control that captain Ben Brown needs defending a small total is not there.

  6. Back on at Hovepublished at 17:08 BST 10 May

    Sussex 430 v Leics 328 & 150-4 (lead by 48 runs)

Tom Clark has the ball in hand as play gets under way again with Stephen Eskinazi (21) and Jonny Tattersall (51) the not out batsmen.

The light is not bright and Stephen Eskinazi looks to make that point to the umpire after he is hit in the hand by a rising ball from Clark.

  8. 50 runs

50 partnership for McKinney and Gaypublished at 17:05 BST 10 May

    Worcs v Durham 54-1 (target 143)

Ben McKinney pulls Harry Darley to the fence from outside off stump and that brings up the 50 partnership for this second wicket.

McKinney has 24, with Emilio Gay on 26 and the pair are looking comfortable at the moment.

They shared a century stand in Durham's last game, against Middlesex at Lord's - and if they do the same tonight, that'll be just about job done for the visitors.

  9. Postpublished at 17:03 BST 10 May

    Notts 415 & 8-0 v Surrey 449

First task for Haseeb Hameed and Ben Slater is to wipe out that 34-run deficit and they've trimmed it by eight already in the first couple of overs.

All eight of those have been scored by Hameed and we have another 22 overs due to be bowled tonight.

  10. rain stops play

Rain stops playpublished at 16:56 BST 10 May

    Sussex 430 v Leics 328 & 145-4

Bit of movement in the middle after the umpires inspect with the groundstaff taking off the cover sheet

It looks like they could be under way at Hove again shortly.

  11. 100 runs

100 up for Glamorganpublished at 16:55 BST 10 May

    Glamorgan 100-2 v Somerset (target 283)

Three figures in the final innings for Glamorgan, Asa Tribe leading the way on 39 not out.

Craig Overton has thrown everything at the Glamorgan opener in the past couple of overs, but he's come out unscathed and is creeping towards a half-century.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:51 BST 10 May

    Lyth lbw Bamber 4 (Warwicks 147 & 553-6 dec v Yorkshire 152 & 14-3)

    Wow.

Ethan Bamber is steaming in like a runaway train and arrows one in to Adam Lyth's pads and it hits him plumb in front.

Lyth tries to act like it wasn't but I think he knew, Bamber has all three Yorkshire wickets to fall so far.

He is 3-7 from his opening five overs.

  13. Postpublished at 16:50 BST 10 May

    Worcs v Durham 40-1 (target 143)

A brief heart in mouth moment for Emilio Gay as he almost chips a return catch to Harry Darley, but there's enough power on the leading edge to guide the ball over the bowler's head.

Gay has looked in good touch otherwise, clipping a couple of leg-side fours off his pads as Durham make swift progress towards their 143 target - they're currently going at five an over.

  14. Division Two updatepublished at 16:48 BST 10 May

    #bbccricket

A smoother start to Northamptonshire's second innings than their first as they follow on against Derbyshire. 35-0 currently the score, but the visitors still trail by 341 runs.

In Bristol, the Gloucestershire second innings continues to hinge on opener Cameron Bancroft, 66 not out so far and his side's lead is 158 with six wickets remaining over Kent.

  15. Essex three wickets down earlypublished at 16:47 BST 10 May

    Essex 273 ao & 44-3 v Hants 235 ao & 240 ao, Essex require 133

    Grace Ballinger
The Blaze and Manchester Super Giants seamer

Sean Abbott is on fire at Chelmsford! He has 3-8 off his nine overs.

As we mentioned earlier, Essex have been struggling for runs this season. Once again, the top order have been dismissed cheaply, the top three all departing for less than 20 runs apiece.

James Fuller is keeping it tight bowling in tandem with Abbott, after Codi Yusuf went for 18 off his three overs.

All to play for in Essex then!

  16. wicket

SURREY ALL OUTpublished at 16:47 BST 10 May

    Topley c Stone b Patterson-White 12 (Notts 415 v Surrey 449)

Well-taken diving catch by Olly Stone in the deep - and that brings Reece Topley's stay at the wicket to an end and closes the Surrey innings.

Ollie Pope finishes unbeaten on 19, having helped the visitors to claim s lead of 34, while Liam Patterson-White ends with 4-135 and Josh Tongue 4-89.

Now, can Surrey's bowlers make inroads when Nottinghamshire go out to begin their second innings?

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:45 BST 10 May

    Wharton b Bamber 0 (Warwicks 147 & 553-6 dec v Yorkshire 152 & 7-2)

A curious dismissal as James Wharton looks like he goes to block, then takes his bat away to leave it, only for it to crash into the stumps.

Wharton goes without scoring and Ethan Bamber has two wickets.

The Bears have their tails up.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:42 BST 10 May

    Westley c Prest b Abbott 9 (Essex 40-3 Target: 177)

Clipped firmly off his legs but it has gone straight to midwicket where Tom Prest takes a smart catch.

Kyle Abbott has 3-5 and is hauling this game back in Hants direction.

Just a question of how long they can keep the South African going given he is into his ninth over.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:41 BST 10 May

    Carlson c Rew b Ball 4 (Glamorgan 91-2 v Somerset, target 283)

Big slash. Thin edge. Caught behind. The Glamorgan captain is walking!

It was a tempting delivery and Kiran Carlson takes the bait. Jake Ball gets his third wicket of the match and, to be honest, we're still no nearer to finding out who is going to win this one.

Ben Kellaway joins Asa Tribe in the middle.

  20. Bamber goes bang - again!published at 16:39 BST 10 May

    Warwickshire 147 & 553-6 dec v Yorkshire 152 & 7-1

    Grace Ballinger
The Blaze and Manchester Super Giants seamer

Yorkshire 7-2 as Bamber bowls James Wharton. He now has 2-2 off two overs.

Another early top-order wicket by Bamber, only strengthening the claim for him to be considered for England selection...
