Tector is cramping. He's stretching it out. Does he have to start going for boundaries?

I don't think that would be the worst result for Ireland. They bat down to 10 - Barry McCarthy has a T20I fifty.

One of these two has to take this game on. You don't want to leave your power-hitters with too little time.

Ireland are 10 runs ahead of where Sri Lanka were at this point in the innings. But there were some big overs at the end of Sri Lanka's innings. Can Ireland find a way to replicate that?

Tucker's placed that brilliantly. He's picked the googly, rocked onto that back foot and hit it dead straight over the umpire.

  4. Ire 94-2published at 13 overs

Lorcan Tucker goes straight down the ground for a classy four off Wanindu Hasaranga.

Ireland take 10 from the over.

Hasaranga is back on the pitch. He's got the ball in his hand. His hamstring must be reasonably okay.

A better throw and it would have been tight. Needed to be a quick, flat one from the deep. Tucker was comfortably home.

  8. Ire 84-2published at 12 overs

Dunith Wellalage gets one past Lorcan Tucker but it just misses the stumps.

Close to a run-out off the final ball but not close enough for Sri Lanka as Tucker gets home.

Shanaka ran around his team-mates pointing at his wrist. He's clearly been given a warning about time being an issue. If this gets close and Sri Lanka have to bring a man into the ring, that would be tricky indeed.

  10. Ire 78-2published at 11 overs

A quiet over from Dasun Shanaka with the run-rate for an Ireland victory currently sitting at 9.56 per over.

10 off the over was exactly what Ireland needed. They're still in touch. If they can take this game deep, they have the batters to get them over the line.

  12. Ire 72-2published at 10 overs

Harry Tector flicks a wide Matheesha Pathirana delivery for four as Ireland take 10 runs from the over.

    It's finely poised in Colombo.

  13. Ire 62-2published at 9 overs

Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker are trying to rebuild the Irish innings after the loss of both openers.

Both of these batters, they grew up playing together. They play for the same domestic team and they're rapid between the wickets.

They play in third or fourth gear. They run very well with the odd boundary - busy. And then depending on how they go, Campher can do something similar or Dockrell and Calitz can go big.

He didn't pick the wrong'un. He was trying to make room and go over extra cover.

By making room, he opened the gate for that big ripping googly. He didn't see it out of the hand and he's paid the price.

Adair goes for a wild hoick and a full straight ball clatters into the stumps. Hasaranga doesn't even really bother to celebrate. He's going off.

Hasaranga carries on and takes a wicket with the final ball of his over - Ross Adair tries to smash it out of the ground but instead sees the ball clatter the stumps.

Hasaranga has the look of a man who's cooked. It's his hamstring.

Wanindu Hasaranga sends down his first two deliveries but now looks to have picked up an injury - the physios are on.

It's been an interesting innings from Ross Adair. Some agricultural shots, some powerful shots.
