It's not an imposing total and one that Pakistan would back themself to chase. I feel like they've kept the game in the balance.

It's been a fascinating innings to watch with the first over going for one but then came the Ishan Kishan show.

That's a painful innings for Suryakumar Yadav. Normally, he's able to smash the ball to all parts but he couldn't get any momentum behind his innings.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.5 overs

    Yadav c Ayub b Usman Tariq 32 (Ind 159-5)

Grit and graft from Pakistan and they get their rewards.

Suryakumar Yadav has to up the ante with time running out and he makes a sweet-ish connection to a leg break from Usman Tariq and the ball flies down to deep mid-wicket where Saim Ayub claims a good catch.

The boundaries at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo are a little bit bigger than those in India, though, and has that made the difference?

  8. Ind 158-4published at 18.2 overs

Shivam Dube nearly chops on with a big slog before connecting with the Pakistan spinner's next delivery and sending it back over his head for four.

    Abrar Ahmed's been expensive today.

He is going to have to come back strong because there's a real danger that India could go at 10s for the last three overs.

  11. 6 runs

    Ind 153-4published at 17.5 overs

Shivam Dube does connect this time!

The India batter swivels on his heels to Abrar Ahmed and hammers it over the mid-wicket boundary for six.

  12. Ind 145-4published at 17.3 overs

Superb shot from Suryakumar Yadav off Abrar Ahmed.

    Suryakumar Yadav is still there.

He steps right across to his strong wrists to whip Usman Tariq on the sweep and a few Pakistan players bellow 'catch!' but the ball plops safely into the turf.

SKY is 26 not out off 24 balls.

    Three overs to go.

Those wickets came from pressure of the partnership facing all those dot balls.

It's really nice from Saim Ayub, he's just put revs on it.

  15. Ind 136-4published at 16 overs

Shivam Dube with what feels like the first boundary in ages for India as he slaps one a little short from Mohammad Nawaz through mid-wicket for four.

Ishan Kishan has been the mainstay of this India innings so far.

The left-hander made 77 off 40 balls at the top of the order but his dismissal has allowed Pakistan to pull things back in.

  16. Dube survives hat-trick ballpublished at 14.4 overs

As close to a hat-trick as you will see without taking a hat-trick.

A magnificent delivery from Saim Ayub, but UltraEdge shows no bat involved and Shivam Dube is behind the line as well.

    Dube survives.

  17. Pakistan reviewpublished at 14.4 overs

An absolute seed from Saim Ayub.

The ball holds on a length and straightens to beat the outside edge of Shivam Dube and Usman Khan whips of the bails.

Pakistan appeal. For something. Anything. But it's turned down.

    They fancy a review.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.3 overs

    Two in two for Pakistan!

Saim Ayub tosses the ball up and all-rounder Hardik Pandya swats it high in air.
