That is a massive wicket. The anchor has disappeared and Pakistan are floating adrift.

It feels like the game is up and we're less than five overs in.

    Babar b Axar 5 (Pak 34-4)

Babar Azam will not want to see this again.

The former Pakistan captain attempts to slog sweep Axar Patel into next week, but he swipes at fresh air.

The ball does not spin and skids on to hit the stumps.

    Pakistan four down.

  3. Pak 34-3published at 4.3 overs

Usman Khan with some intelligent, if not exactly risk averse, batting.

Twice he backs away to give himself room to hit Axar Patel inside out for four through the covers.

  4. Pak 25-3published at 4 overs

Babar Azam and Usman Khan with something more like conventional cricket to Jasprit Bumrah.

Azam does well to dig out a Bumrah yorker midway through the over.

Three singles and a wide off the over.

  5. 6 runs

    Pak 21-3published at 3 overs

Usman Khan backs away to give himself room to access the off side and hammers Hardik Pandya over the long-of boundary for six.

Impressive shot but no sense of Pakistan rebuilding here. All or nothing.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 2 overs

    Agha c Pandya b Bumrah 4 (Pak 13-3)

Salman Agha is off the mark with a whip through mid-wicket but perishes to Jasprit Bumrah next ball.

One thing that Jasprit Bumrah does well is bowl those yorkers and that was nailed by Bumrah.

It was a great delivery after being hit for six the previous ball. There was nothing Saim Ayub could have done about that.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 1.2 overs

    Ayub lbw b Bumrah 6 (Pak 6-2)

    Red, red, red. Gone.

Saim Ayub got himself in a bit of tangle with the position of his feet and is slightly overbalanced, although it is a brisk yorker from Jasprit Bumrah which perhaps hurried him.

Pakistan two down and we are not even eight balls into the chase.

    No bat...

  10. Pakistan reviewpublished at 1.2 overs

Saim Ayub attempts to flick Jasprit Bumrah off his toes, but is hit on the pad.

    Given out.

The Pakistan opener goes for the review, but more in hope than expectation you sense.

  11. 6 runs

    Pak 6-1published at 1.1 overs

Jasprit Bumrah's first ball disappears for six - albeit with an element of fortune as Saim Ayub top edges it to fine leg for six.

  15. Pak 0-0published at 0.3 overs

Three dots from Hardik Pandya. Sahibzada Farhan feels bat on ball with each.

Pakistan's Usman Tariq: "I had a good experience. It is a dream when you represent your country to face India, such a competitive team.

"The pitch was quite slow and I was trying to take wickets and I kept their momentum low.

"I think we are on the safe side. There is no doubt that our batters have great momentum and the intent they have shown shows our mind is clear."
