England will be powering towards 220. What an unbelievable platform has been set by these two. The range of shots and hitting. India are short of answers.

It's been brilliant hitting from Jos Buttler. He gets a sweaty hug from his captain. That is some innings.

    An understatement that, Michael.

Another six for Jos Buttler off Prince Yadav who slogs one across the line over deep square.

    Not pretty but effective.

Indian bowlers just haven't been able to hit their yorkers. It's been pace off and in the slot. You have to hit those variations.

Turning into a miserable afternoon for India as Ravi Bishnoi fumbles attempting to gather at wide long-off after Prince Yadav is carved away by Jos Buttler.

You just have to marvel the strokeplay of these two. Slightly contrasting styles but those hits down the ground are something to behold.

That's just hitting practice. Fed into the slot but you still have to put them away - and Harry Brook is in the mood to do that today.

  16. Eng 168-1published at 14 overs

A dash of fortune for Harry Brook as he flashes at one wide from Suryansh Shedge and edges it over where the slip cordon would be stationed for four.

Brook skies a free hit off the penultimate ball of the over following a Shedge no-ball but the fielder lets it bounce before flinging it in.

Brook goes deep into the crease again and crashes another huge six downtown.

This partnership is 160 runs off 75 balls.

England on target for 240 at the rate they are currently going.

    Suryansh Shedge is back.

Try saying his name in the late Sir Sean Connery's voice.

Harry Brook wallops another huge six which bangs straight back into the sightscreen.

Brook did well to get underneath the bounce to an attempted yorker from Shedge by going deep in his crease before hammering it.

I'm quite certain Jos Buttler didn't mean to play that shot for six. I feel like it was more of an evasive shot.

  20. Eng 144-1published at 13 overs

A yorker to finish from Prasidh Krishna and Jos Buttler digs it out, but is still able to pick up a couple of runs.
