  1. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:10 BST 11 May

    Benjamin b Bell 42 (Glos v Kent 231-6 - target 261)

This game's not decided just yet!

Chris Benjamin plays on to what looked a fairly innocuous delivery from Gabe Bell - but the bails are dislodged and that's all that matters from a Gloucestershire perspective.

Kent still need 30, with four wickets standing.

  2. Postpublished at 17:07 BST 11 May

    Derbys 604-7d v Northants 228 & 234-9

The Georges, Bartlett and Scrimshaw, are frustrating Derbys with a last wicket partnership that is now up to 13 runs and well over eight overs.

It seems only a matter of time but the Derbys fielders will be getting a bit fed up that they are not already in their cars and on the way back home for tea.

  3. Postpublished at 17:05 BST 11 May

    Glos v Kent 227-5 (target 261)

Ekansh Singh gets away with one as he takes a swing at leg-spinner Ed Middleton and skies it, but the ball falls safely between two fielders and Ekansh and Chris Benjamin scamper two.

The runs are flowing again - just 34 needed for Kent.

  4. SUSSEX BEAT LEICS BY SEVEN WICKETSpublished at 17:01 BST 11 May

    Sussex 430 & 131-3 v Leics 328 & 232

James Coles pulls Rishi Patel ferociously through the two fielders on the midwicket boundary as the ball races over the rope and Sussex confirm a seven wicket win over the Foxes.

The Hove outfit continue to battle through the handicap of their 12 points deduction for financial overstretch with a third win in five outings in Division One.

And they continue to be steered well by captain Ollie Robinson who led from the front with 3-85 in the first innings (supported by Jack Carson with 4-40) as Leics were bowled out fo 328.

With the bat Dan Hughes (136) and John Simpson (114*) gave Sussex a 102 run first innings lead which proved too much pressure for the Foxes batsmen who were three down before they got a lead.

Robinson (3-46) and Fynn Hudson-Prentice (3-37) were the cutting edge with the ball and a target of 131 was never enough to contain a powerful chase despite the attentions of the rain.

Fantastically proud of Glamorgan. What discipline from Sean Dickson and Ryan Hadley to get us over the line. Players after my own heart.

    David, London

This is why it should never be sacrificed for the shorter game. Glamorgan game is a really good advert for the game.

    David, Tonypandy

It would appear that all the games with the exception of Notts - Surrey have been good adverts for the Championship. Why didn't Notts declare and attempt to bowl Surrey out? Not a good advert that they've just batted on to the draw.

    Ian, Doncaster

  6. Postpublished at 16:57 BST 11 May

    Sussex 126-3 (Target: 131)

James Coles and Jack Leaning are just five runs away from victory now after a flurry of runs since the dismissal of Danial Ibrahim.

  7. Postpublished at 16:55 BST 11 May

    Glos v Kent 217-5 (target 261)

The loss of Tawanda Muyeye has slowed Kent down and they're now creeping towards their target with stealth more than speed.

However, Chris Benjamin is well set now, with 31 to his name and the visitors need another 44 for victory.

  8. NOTTS DRAW WITH SURREYpublished at 16:51 BST 11 May
    Breaking

    Notts 415 & 414-4 dec v Surrey 449

Ben Duckett takes off his gloves and helmet and shakes the hand of Surrey skipper Rory Burns to signal the end of the game.

Duckett finishes on 203 not out and the teams take 13 points apiece from this evenly-matched contest.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:49 BST 11 May

    Ibrahim b A Patel 48 (Sussex 101-3 Target: 131)

No foot movement, just a swing and a miss and Danial Ibrahim's T20 thrash is over two short of his half century.

Ben Duckett raises his bat to acknowledge the crowd after slamming Rory Burns back over his head for four to reach 200.

He's just in time to make that landmark, because this game will end in a matter of minutes.

Somerset will never win the title.

    Alastair, Aberdeenshire

I have to say Glamorgan deserved it (as a Somerset supporter). When a side posts 6 scores of 0 in its second innings it's not likely to come out on top. Let's hope the ingredients gel in the next match!

    Richard, London

  12. Postpublished at 16:45 BST 11 May

    Glos v Kent 209-5 (target 261)

Ekansh Singh is off the mark, scrambling a single off Matt Taylor as Kent edge closer to the line.

They need another 52, with Chris Benjamin unbeaten on 27 at the other end - but just imagine what another couple of quick wickets would do for Gloucestershire spirits.

Glamorgan beat Somerset by two wickets

Somerset were hoping to return to the top of the table after Warwickshire’s victory earlier today.

But they’ve been shocked here and will slip back to fourth in the table.

Glamorgan have back-to-back wins and will find themselves second.

Get Involved - praise for Glamorgan's Hadleypublished at 16:40 BST 11 May

Ryan Hadley is my new favourite cricketer.

    Rob, Hampshire

That Hadley 50 is probably, arguably, certainly the greatest 50. Ever.

    Oliver, Carmarthen

A four to win the game and grab your maiden FIFTY! A patient and disciplined innings by Ryan Hadley. Great advert for the County Championship

    Russell, Cardiff

  15. 'A great game of cricket'published at 16:36 BST 11 May

Glamorgan beat Somerset by two wickets

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

It would be hard to imagine a more unlikely hero than Hadley.

A great game of cricket and it's back-to-back defeats for Somerset. It’s good to see the players shaking hands and congratulations to Hadley in particular.

Somerset are going to have to pick themselves up off the floor as there will be some very tired bodies in the dressing room with the number of overs the seamers put in.

They stuck to their task but on the day it was not quite good enough.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:34 BST 11 May

    Muyeye c Bracey b Taylor 108 (Glos v Kent 204-5 - target 261)

    Hold on a minute...

Matt Taylor picks up the wicket Gloucestershire needed so badly!

The left-armer tempts Tawanda Muyeye outside off stump and the edge is snapped up by James Bracey behind the stumps.

Kent still need 57 as Ekansh Singh joins Chris Benjamin in the middle.

  17. Postpublished at 16:33 BST 11 May

    Notts 415 & 381-4 v Surrey 449

Both the Nottinghamshire and Surrey camps will probably be delighted to hear news of Somerset's narrow defeat in Cardiff - it means pretty much as you were for these two sides once this match ends in a draw.

Warwickshire have bustled into the equation as well following their big win against Yorkshire, but the defending champions will stay top of the tree after this round.

Ryan Patel has had a bowl now and Dom Sibley is about to send down his second over. The only remaining issue to be decided is whether Ben Duckett, on 179 not out, has time to complete a double century.

  18. Historic home win for Glamorganpublished at 16:32 BST 11 May

    Glam 229 & 285-8 v Somerset 354 & 157

    Cennydd Davies
    Commentator on BBC Radio Wales

It’s back-to-back victories for Glamorgan after winning down in Southampton and a bit of history created here, a first victory on home soil in Division One.

Hadley raises his bat aloft and is milking it for all its worth and my he deserves it.

His highest First Class knock by far and what a time to deliver.

  19. No hat trick for Chappellpublished at 16:32 BST 11 May

Northants 222-9 (trail by 154 runs)

George Scrimshaw keeps out Zak Chappell and Northants remain alive, just.

  20. Postpublished at 16:32 BST 11 May

Glamorgan beat Somerset by two wickets

What a wonderful game of cricket.

The latest dollop of proof that nothing beats first-class cricket.

Somerset led by 125 on first innings.

They were then 63-8 before rallying to set Glamorgan 283.

At 134-5 the chase looked up but what stand between Sean Dickson and Ryan Hadley.

The pair added 114 for the sixth wicket.

Dickson couldn’t see the job through and Somerset sensed a heist with three late wickets but Hadley stood firm to see it home.

50 not out from 231 balls! What an innings.
