It seems to me in formats other than crash, bang, wallop T20 that England's batters seem to struggle.

This is, in truth, a lost cause. That doesn't mean that you don't play the situation.

Josh Tongue with his final over as the crowd starts to thin out at Edgbaston - at least in terms of England fans.

Tongue manages to fizz one past the outside edge of Washington Sundar's bat and throws his head back in frustration.

You sense that as a fielding side, you're a beaten team.

A perfectly-paced chase? India have always been in front so when they did lose wickets, they had a buffer.

Fabulous, fabulous innings and much needed from an Indian perspective and Axar Patel. He has been under a bit of pressure recently, he hasn't put up a lot of runs.

England collapse from 61-0 to 80-5

It looks odds-on now for a very comfortable India victory, and they fully deserve it. Mainly due to some pathetic batting and even worse bowling. England need to make some serious changes to this team. Some more consistent batsmen and some better line and length bowlers. Total rubbish today.
