    There's the acceleration!

Izzy Sharp bludgeons Charlie Dean's first ball over Dani Gibson at mid-wicket for six.

  7. NZ 112-5published at 17 overs

Time for Freya Kemp's second over - the other five England bowlers tonight have bowled three apiece.

New Zealand are still struggling to get the England attack away - this over goes for five singles.

They really need to begin accelerating here.

It does feel like Sophie Ecclestone's form has dropped off in the last year or two, she's not been as dominant. The Australians set the tone on how to play her and get on top of her.

Sophie Devine, with those three sixes in the first over, ruined her figures but she's come back nicely since then.

Teams have started to sweep her now and manipulate the field.

  9. NZ 107-5published at 16 overs

Five singles around a four for Izzy Sharp, sweeping Sophie Ecclestone square.

The second of those ones brings up New Zealand's hundred.

  10. NZ 98-5published at 15 overs

    Very tidy from Dani Gibson.

She concedes just three singles from her third over.

An excellent catch from Maia Bouchier to dismiss Brooke Halliday - Bouchier has a catch success rate of 84% in T20Is for England, bettered only by Knight (91%) and Dunkley (90%).

Only one player, Sophie Devine, has looked like she has had any timing out in the middle.

  13. NZ 95-5published at 14 overs

Izzy Sharp is the next batter out of the dug-out for New Zealand.

She takes a single square from her third delivery.

That is a brilliant catch from Maia Bouchier and she gets a big hug from Sophie Ecclestone because she had ground to make up.

Charlie Dean, the England captain, makes the breakthrough.

    Caught down the ground!

Brooke Halliday strikes Charlie Dean high and straight, but doesn't quite get enough on it.

Maia Bouchier makes good ground from long-off and takes an excellent diving catch.

England have looked good in the field today.

Someone asked me the other day 'what's happened to Maddy Green? Why is she so good now?'

It's a valid question. She's probably the harshest critic on herself and there is just a lot more self belief now and security in her place in the side.

  17. NZ 93-4published at 13 overs

    Nicely cut!

Maddy Green sends Lauren Bell behind square, beating a fielder at short third.

What teams have started doing to Brooke Halliday is bowl wider to her because she is so dominant on that leg side.

  19. NZ 87-4published at 12 overs

Linsey Smith comes back on for her first over outside of the powerplay, and she continues her fine form.

Just three singles conceded, she has figures of 1-5 off three overs.

Maddy Green has been in sumptuous form in ODI cricket and reverse sweeps Ecclestone right off the toes for four.
