A big moment for Liam Guthrie who brings up his maiden first-class fifty.

    Chapeau!

Northants are closing on another batting point. The stand is up to 73.

  3. Postpublished at 15:10 BST 19 April

    Gloucs 215-4 v Lancs - lead by 111

Arav Shetty's right-arm off-spin has slowed down Gloucestershire's run rate somewhat but there is little threat of a wicket for Lancashire at the moment.

His final ball of the over is dispatched past mid-off by Tommy Boorman, who moves onto 14 not out.

  4. Postpublished at 15:09 BST 19 April

    Northants 296-7 v Middlesex 341

James Sales guides Tom Helm past the slip cordon to pick up his 22nd four.

Postpublished at 15:07 BST 19 April

    Northants 296-7 v Middlesex 341

Toby Roland-Jones returns for another spell - perhaps one more than he'd have preferred.

Liam Guthrie is playing a blinder here and smacks a six back over the bowler's head.

Guthrie drives down the ground for four more and it takes him three away from a half-century.

  6. Postpublished at 15:05 BST 19 April

    Hants 322-8 v Somerset - lead by 272 runs

Craig Overton finds the inside edge of Codi Yusuf with his penultimate ball back into the attack but the South African gets away with it, and also manages to scurry through for a single.

Every run really does count at this stage for Hampshire.

Archie Vaughan is back too for some more off-spin - preferred to Jack Leach at the moment.

  7. Postpublished at 15:03 BST 19 April

    Warks 44-3 v Essex - lead by 29

Sam Cook into a seventh over.

Rob Yates attacks Sam Cook and it sails just over the head of third slip Paul Walter for four.

More orthodox from Yates as he picks up a single to mid-off.

Runs have been hard to come by in this match but if Bears can put tigether a sizeable stand together, it could prove decisive.

    Shane Snater replaces Jamie Porter.

  8. 'Sutton frustrated'published at 15:03 BST 19 April

    Gloucs 136 & 209-4 v Lancs 240

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

He kicked the ground in frustration did Sutton.

He cut a rather frustrated figure there having started nicely to the left-hander Bracey but he couldn't get that one right to Boorman.

  9. Postpublished at 15:02 BST 19 April

    Hants 320-8 v Somerset - lead by 270 runs.

Craig Overton is back into the attack for Somerset as the visitors attempt to finish off Hampshire's tail.

Nice shot by Beau Webster who drives Jamie Porter through the covers for four more

Porter gets a hand to the ball as Webster drives again but can't prevent back-to-back fours. It takes him to 19 off just 10 balls.

Webster edges short of and through the slips and almost brings another four, but good work on the rope saves two runs.

    Good over for the Bears.

  11. Gloucs' lead surpasses 100 runspublished at 14:56 BST 19 April

    Gloucs 206-4 v Lancs - lead by 102.

A low full-toss by Ollie Sutton, back into the attack for Lancashire, is dispatched to the off side boundary by Tommy Boorman and that means Gloucestershire's lead surpasses three figures.

  12. Postpublished at 14:53 BST 19 April

    Warks 29-3 v Essex - lead by 14

Essex slips are up as Sam Cook hits Beau Webster's pad. Not out.

Webster then plays into the offside and sets off for a single. Rob Yates just about makes his ground, but it's a little harum-scarum.

A fine edge through the legside brings Yates a streaky four to move to 12 off 38 balls.

  13. Third batting point for Northantspublished at 14:50 BST 19 April

    Northants 296-7 v Middlesex 341

Middlesex turn to the spin of Josh du Caires for the 101st over of the innings.

  14. Postpublished at 14:48 BST 19 April

Warks 20-3 v Essex - lead by five

Beau Webster is off the mark immediately with a couple off Sam Cook and Warwicks are finally in front.

An edge then brings Webster four more from a ball which squared up the batter.

Cook has all three wickets to fall. Could he be seeing more England duty this summer?

  15. 'Similar dismissal'published at 14:47 BST 19 April

    Hants 238 & 311-8 v Somerset 288

    Charlie Harden
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

He's [Gregory] getting the ball to move in late and quite a similar dismissal to that of Ben Brown.

Just swinging back in and the ball beating the bat of Kyle Abbott, making its way onto off-stump.

WICKETpublished at 14:45 BST 19 April

    Hain c Harmer b Cook 0 (Warks 14-3 v Essex - trail by 1)

    Essex are right on top!

Warwickshire have lost three wickets without adding a run as first-innings hero Sam Hain goes for a five-ball duck.

It's a familiar combo as Sam Cook draws the edge and Sam Harmer takes a super catch at second slip.

    Beau Webster is in.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:42 BST 19 April

    Abbott b Gregory 5 (Hants 311-8 v Somerset - lead by 261 runs)

Two in the over for Lewis Gregory!

A bit of a carbon copy of the wicket he just got a few minutes earlier.

This time, though, there is no hint of an inside edge as Kyle Abbott goes for a big slog and sees his off and middle stumps dislodged.

Somerset on a roll - this match has turned on it's head once more after lunch.

  19. Northants move into first innings leadpublished at 14:40 BST 19 April

    Northants 345-8 v Middlesex 341

Liam Guthrie hammers Naavya Sharma through the legside to collect his second boundary of the over.

It takes him to 30 off just 25 balls and takes Northants into the lead.

  20. wicket

    Brown b Gregory 66 (Hants 310-7 v Somerset - lead by 260)

Big celebrations from Somerset captain Lewis Gregory who gets the danger man Ben Brown!

A hint of in-swing from Gregory who finds the gap as Brown goes for a big slap into the off side - there may be a small inside edge here and Brown's off-stump tumbles.

Gregory knows how big that wicket is - his side's third in the first hour after lunch.
