  1. Postpublished at 14:42 BST 3 May

    Leics 308 & 75-0 (f/o) v Notts 490

This has been a confident start to the second innings from the Foxes.

Rishi Patel (39) and Jake Weatherald (31) are scoring a just under six an over which is bold, attacking and positive.

With the ball doing little there will soon be some tired Notts bowlers.

Leics trail by 107 at the moment.

  2. 200 runs

200 up for Yorkshirepublished at 14:41 BST 3 May

Yorks 204-3 (lead Somerset by 92 runs)

After a single from Jonny Bairstow that brings the 200 up, James Wharton is quickly on to a short one from Lewis Gregory and he rolls his wrists and fires it to the square leg boundary.

  3. 'Sussex are hanging in there'published at 14:40 BST 3 May

    Surrey 467-7 v Sussex 358-9 dec

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

A good wicket to pick up at this stage again from a Sussex point of view. They're hanging in there because Surrey haven't got away as yet.

WICKETpublished at 14:40 BST 3 May

    Gay b de Caires 129 (Middlesex 430 v Durham 305-3)

Emilio Gay's fine innings comes to an end at Lord's.

Having reached a third century in six knocks this season, the left-hander is bowled by Middlesex spinner Josh de Caires.

It ends a third-wicket stand of 153 with David Bedingham.

  5. Postpublished at 14:37 BST 3 May

    Surrey 467-7 v Sussex 358-9 dec

Tom Haines, a part-time medium pacer, has just seen one keep low and another jag back into Adam Thomas.

Surrey's bowling unit will be delighted to see that. Haines, an opener, will be less encouraged.

  6. 'Struggling to see where wickets will come from'published at 14:33 BST 3 May

    Middlesex 430 v Durham 305-2

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

For the second innings in a row David Bedingham has joined Emilio Gay in reaching a century for Durham.

This is his 19th first-class hundred for Durham and his 28th in all.

He and Gay put on 290 on Monday, against Lancashire, as the side pulled off its highest run chase in Chester-le-Street.

Today they have added 153 runs so far. That's now Durham's highest third-wicket stand against Middlesex, beating the 150 put on by Martin Love and Jon Lewis here in 2002.

Durham have reached 300 in the process of this stand and taken a second batting point, with 27 overs remaining for more.

I have to say this is a really flat track and good for runs. I am struggling to see where the wickets are going to come from for either side to push on for a win.

Tom Haines has trapped Jordan Clark in front, pretty plumb.

Adam Thomas is unbeaten on 39 and he is joined by Sean Abbott.

  8. 100 runs

for Bedinghampublished at 14:30 BST 3 May

    Middlesex 430 v Durham 302-2

David Bedingham joins his batting partner Emilio Gay in bringing up three figures at Lord's.

It's come at a rapid rate too, off 124 deliveries.

Durham will want a big first-innings lead with Gay unbeaten on 127 and this third-wicket stand worth exactly 150.

  9. Postpublished at 14:29 BST 3 May

Yorks 190-3 (lead Somerset by 78 runs)

Three boundaries in a row for James Wharton off Craig Overton.

The second shot is particularly beautiful, punched off the back foot.

Jonny Bairstow then joins in the fun, with back-to-back boundaries to conclude an Overton over that costs 21.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:26 BST 3 May

    Abbott lbw b Crane 8 (Hants 150-8 v Glam 536-7d)

Mason Crane has a third wicket and figures of 5.4-3-4-3 as Kyle Abbott is trapped in front.

Abbott, who starts pretty square on, takes a belated stride forward to defend but doesn't get his bat in line,

That had plenty of top spin on it and was hitting middle.

  11. Surrey lead by 100published at 14:25 BST 3 May

    Surrey 458-6 v Sussex 358-9 dec

Surrey's first-innings lead is now 100 as Adam Thomas takes a single and moves on to 39 on debut.

  12. 'Was there a break in concentration from Root?'published at 14:22 BST 3 May

Yorks 166-3, lead Somerset by 54 runs

    Stephen Lamb
    BBC Radio Somerset

A big, big moment, Craig Overton has struck and Joe Root is gone for 64!

Was there a break in concentration? It was a full-length delivery, yorker-length.

It's always a huge moment when Joe Root is dismissed.

    That will hearten Somerset.

  13. Postpublished at 14:22 BST 3 May

Yorks 168-3 (lead Somerset by 56 runs)

Craig Overton has his tail up here, as Jonny Bairstow comes to the crease.

First he welcomes Bairstow with a lifter, and after Bairstow takes two from the next delivery, Overton gets one to beat the outside edge.

This is great cricket. And the match is firmly in the balance.

    Hants 150-7 v Glamorgan 536-7 dec

I feel for Hampshire. Being a Hampshire fan they haven't strengthened enough from last year and fear relegation is going to hit them this year. No depth in batting

Root b Overton 64 (Yorks 166-3, lead Somerset by 54 runs)

Joe Root gone! Craig Overton has cleaned him up.

It's a full ball, nipping back and Root has tried to play forward with an angled bat to whip it through mid-wicket, but he misjudges the length and it clatters into the stumps.

    Root is furious with himself.

  16. 'A soft dismissal'published at 14:17 BST 3 May

    Hants 137-7 v Glam 536-7d

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Scott Currie tried to flick that away on the leg side and he's done it a little too quickly and it's a bit of a soft dismissal.

I really didn't see this coming. I know Hampshire haven't batted particularly well so far this season on the whole and last season but after last night I just didn't see where we were going to lose seven wickets this quickly.

It's a little disappointing, but take nothing away from Glamorgan. They gave just outplayed Hampshire and it's hard work when you're so far behind in the game and so it's proven.

  17. 450 up for Surreypublished at 14:16 BST 3 May

    Surrey 450-6 v Sussex 358-9 dec

Adam Thomas continues about his merry way, he's on 33 on debut, Jordan Clark has joined him, and the lead is 92.

  18. 100 runs

for Salespublished at 14:12 BST 3 May

    Northants 496-6 v Worcs 306

James Sales celebrates scoring centuryImage source, Getty Images

James Sales becomes the second Northants batter to reach three figures in what is becoming a mammoth first innings.

It's been a watchful knock, off 175 balls and containing eight fours, but one that's given his side a big, big lead over Worcestershire.

At the other end, keeper Lewis McManus has just gone past fifty.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:10 BST 3 May

    Currie c & b van der Gugten 0 (Hants 137-7 v Glam 536-7d)

A bit of extra bounce from Timm van der Gugten and Scott Currie gets a leading edge trying to knock the ball down into the leg side.

The ball loops up to give the bowler an easy catch in his follow through. He now has 4-41.

Hants last four wickets have fallen for 11 runs.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:10 BST 3 May

    Sibley st Simpson b Carson 187 (Surrey 446-6 v Sussex 358-9 dec)

Dom Sibley's outstanding innings has come to an end.

Having hit three sixes, he goes after Jack Carson again but it's wider this time and he misses it by a mile. John Simpson does the rest behind the stumps.

Sibley - or The Vicar, as he's known - is congratulated by the Sussex bowlers he has flailed, and gets a warm reception from the spectators as he walks off.
