It is best time to be a Sanju Samson follower right now. For the third match in a row, he has delivered for India.

The 31-year old is a known name in Indian Premier League, but has not had much of opportunity in the national side.

Samson’s heroics have also brought joy for cricket fans in his home state of Kerala in southern India.

For a decade he has been around, on the sidelines, trying to make most of every chance he got. But his knocks in this tournament will be remembered for a long time for sure.

Meanwhile, some journalists are also talking about a possible 300+ score for India. Let’s see.

It's just below the waist of Sanju Samson, so it's just fine. He asks the question of the umpire as he walks off, but he's not going to get a reprieve there. Probably the ball he least suspected.

There was a game in Wellington where Brendon McCullum did this and Chris Woakes bowled him with a full toss that hit the top of the stumps.

New Zealand’s seamers will be scratching their heads about what length to bowl to Sanju Samson here.

Through the tournament, the Indian opener has dominated every length of pace bowling he has faced: Full (<6m): 75 runs | 42 balls | SR 179 Length (6-8m): 58 runs | 32 balls | SR 181 Short (>8m): 80 runs | 28 balls | SR 286.

It's absolute mayhem out there. You cannot afford to bowl that length to Samson.

Sanju Samson with some of the cleanest striking of a cricket ball you will ever see as he whacks back-to-back sixes.

He deposits Lockie Ferguson over the boundary at square leg then pings it straight as a die over the bowler's head.
