  1. Foxes in frontpublished at 16:55 BST 26 April

    Glamorgan 440 v Leicestershire 441-5

Leicestershire are into the lead at Sophia Gardens.

There are still 23 overs to come in Cardiff this evening.

  2. 'Duckett could cost a lot of runs'published at 16:55 BST 26 April

    Notts 222-1 (f/o) & 279 v vs Warks 459

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

Yates won't be able to control Duckett, but he's probably hoping he plays a shot that gets himself out.

It's dangerous though, as it could cost them a lot of runs.

  3. 100 partnershippublished at 16:53 BST 26 April

    Notts 222-1 (f/o) & 279 v Warks 459 (lead by 42)

A hundred partnership for Haseeb Hameed and Ben Duckett from 157 balls.

A crucial partnership at a decent strike rate as Nottinghamshire begin to build a handy lead over the Bears.

The Warwickshire victory, which looked on the cards at the beginning of this innings, perhaps begins to look less likely.

  4. Postpublished at 16:53 BST 26 April

    Surrey 446-8 v Essex 409

Essex's spin duo of Simon Harmer and Matt Critchley continue to tick off the overs while those two quick wickets have forced Surrey to regroup and try to eke out this lead, currently 37.

They'll want to push it up towards 70 or 80 if possible - and then give the bowlers a crack at Essex this evening.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:49 BST 26 April

    Eskinazi b Gorvin 50 (Glamorgan 440 v Leicestershire 437-4)

50 and out for Stephen Eskinazi.

But his partnership with Jonny Tattersall was worth a whopping 107.

The Foxes trail by three with six wickets still in hand.

  6. 50 runs

50 for Stephen Eskinazipublished at 16:45 BST 26 April

    Glamorgan 440 v Leicestershire 435-4

Stephen Eskinazi joins batting partner Jonny Tattersall on a half-century and their partnership of 106 has put them on the brink of parity.

  7. 50 runs

for Ben Duckettpublished at 16:43 BST 26 April

    Notts 209-1 (f/o) & 279 v Warks 459 (lead by 29)

An excellent half-century for England's Ben Duckett is brought up off 79 balls by a late cut behind square for four, after two play and misses outside off of the bowling of Jordan Thompson, who continues to threaten.

Notts continuing to look dominant at the crease.

  8. WORCESTERSHIRE BEAT KENTpublished at 16:39 BST 26 April
    Breaking

Worcestershire (447) beat Kent (196 & 249) by an innings and two runs

Worcestershire have wrapped up a dominant win over Kent at New Road.

Following some late resistance from keeper Chris Benjamin, he's the last man to go for 77, pinned lbw by Ethan Brookes.

Tom Taylor starred with the ball, taking 5-56.

The Pears win by an innings and two runs to leave Kent without a victory in their three matches this campaign.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:38 BST 26 April

    Clark lbw b Critchley 43 (Surrey 434-8 v Essex 409)

Two wickets in successive overs and Essex are fighting back here.

Matt Critchley picks up his second of the innings as he pins Jordan Clark in front and now it's down to Gus Atkinson, who comes out to join Sean Abbott, to try and extend this Surrey advantage beyond the 'handy' category.

  10. 200 up for Nottspublished at 16:38 BST 26 April

    Notts 205-1 (f/o) & 279 v Warks 459 (Notts lead by 20)

200 runs up for the loss of one wicket for the home side at Trent Bridge, with both Haseeb Hameed and Ben Duckett motoring along nicely.

The introduction of Rob Yates' off-spin is currently proving futile, he has so far conceded 24 runs off his five overs.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:34 BST 26 April

    Lawes c&b Harmer 36 (Surrey 434-7 v Essex 409)

That's the end of Tom Lawes and his partnership of 67 with Jordan Clark.

Lawes has already had some success coming down the track to the spinners, but he pumps this one straight back into the hands of Simon Harmer - who rather nonchalantly tosses the ball to the umpire, barely acknowledging the dismissal.

Out comes Sean Abbott to join Jordan Clark, with Surrey 25 in front.

  12. Postpublished at 16:32 BST 26 April

    Surrey 433-6 v Essex 409

Earlier, Matt Critchley took the wicket of Ben Foakes with a ball that didn't turn and kept low.

This one to Jordan Clark both turns and keeps low, but misses everything - stumps, wicketkeeper and slips - and rolls to the rope for four byes.

Surrey have stepped up a gear again since tea, with Clark on 42 and Tom Lawes 36.

  13. 50 runs

50 for Jonny Tattersallpublished at 16:29 BST 26 April

Glamorgan 440 v Leicestershire 431-4 - Leics trail by nine runs

And the 100-run partnership between Jonny Tattersall and Stephen Eskinazi (49*)

The Foxes are almost on level terms.

  14. get involved

Get Involvedpublished at 16:29 BST 26 April

    Yorkshire 457-8 v Sussex 502

It’s been a really encouraging reply for Yorkshire given our batting frailties. Hopefully we can get a draw from here barring something exceptional

    Chris - Headingley

  15. 'Warwickshire need the spinners'published at 16:28 BST 26 April

    Notts 191-1 (f/o) & 279 v vs Warks 459

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

I think Warwickshire will have to try the spinners in this session.

They need to try something different.

  16. Play resumes at Trent Bridgepublished at 16:28 BST 26 April

    Notts 191-1 (f/o) & 279 v Warks 459 (Notts lead by 11)

After a short break, we are back into play at Trent Bridge as a pleasant Sunday afternoon turns to evening.

It is Jordan Thompson who bowls the first over of the session, which concedes one run.

Thompson probably has looked the most threatening of the Bears bowlers today, although he is yet to pick up a wicket, so it could be a good move from skipper Ed Barnard for him to return.

  17. Evening session under way at The Ovalpublished at 16:23 BST 26 April

    Surrey 416-6 v Essex 409

Simon Harmer sent down the first over of the day and the veteran spinner is entrusted with the opening six balls of the final session as well.

Just a single to Jordan Clark, which extends Surrey's narrow lead to seven runs. They'll want a lot more than that by the time we reach stumps.

  18. Former Durham pair in century standpublished at 16:21 BST 26 April

    Durham 295 v Lancashire 370 & 194-6 - tea, day three

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Lancashire were in real trouble when Paul Coughlin came out to bat at number eight. They were struggling on 72-6 and the lead was only 147.

But he and Michael Jones batted through the remainder of the afternoon session, with the former Durham players both reaching half-centuries.

Coughlin has 60 and Jones 69 and their partnership has steered the game back towards Lancashire once again. The lead is a sizeable one at 269.

When the grey skies cleared in the early afternoon and the lights went off, batting looked fairly straightforward. It's now tea and the new ball is still 16 overs away. If the partnership is not broken before then Durham will be chasing more than 400 tomorrow.

  19. 'Could well be a twist in this game'published at 16:21 BST 26 April

    Yorkshire 457-8 v Sussex 502

    Adrian Harms
    BBC Sussex

An entertaining session with 157 runs scored and four wickets taken, and despite a draw still looking the most likely outcome, there could well be a twist in this game

Yorkshire trail by 45 runs so do they declare and have a crack at Sussex tonight, or try and establish some kind of lead and make life difficult for Sussex tomorrow, either way a draw is definitely not nailed on

  20. Postpublished at 16:12 BST 26 April

    Durham 295 v Lancashire 370 & 194-6

What a recovery this has been from Lancashire with the bat. Paul Coughlin and Michael Jones have taken the visitors from 72-6 to 194-6 at Chester-le-Street and the lead now stands at 269.

Lancashire have become big favourites with both batters now into the 60s.
