    Detroit Lions 16-8 Chicago Bears

The Bears are back in the game! Caleb Williams hits a wide open Jahdae Walker over the middle for a touchdown, and Chicago also get the two-point conversion to make it a one-score game.

Williams also breaks the team record for passing yards in a season, but he will likely fall short of finally giving Chicago their first 4,000-yard passer - as they're the only NFL team without one in their history.

The main focus right now though is that second seed - with 14 minutes left in the game to complete the comeback.

Rhamondre Stevenson charges 35 yards and into the end zone for his second touchdown of the day to extend the Patriots' lead.

New England ran four plays on that drive, consisting of a 16-yard pass, a six-yard pass, a six-yard run and a 35-yard run.

    Talk about efficiency.

New England can't really do much more now - they need Denver to lose to the Chargers if they are to snatch the no.1 seed in the AFC.

  3. touchdown

Touchdown - Billspublished at 23:31 GMT 4 January

New York Jets 0-29 Buffalo Bills

Buffalo are ending the regular season strongly as they aim to win on the road in the play-offs, while the 3-13 Jets can't wait for it to finish.

Gabe Davis leaps highest to grab a two-yard pass by Mitch Trubisky at the back of the end zone before Trubisky hits Keon Coleman to add a two-point conversion.

  4. touchdown

Touchdown - Cardinalspublished at 23:29 GMT 4 January

Arizona Cardinals 20-16 Los Angeles Rams

Something of an upset brewing here in Los Angeles now as Josiah Deguara catches a seven-yard touchdown pass from Jacoby Brissett to send Arizona into the lead.

As it stands this would mean the Rams staying in sixth spot and playing away in Chicago next week rather than finishing in fifth with a win and heading to Carolina.

The way the Bears are playing tonight though maybe there's not too much difference? What's the harder game do you think? Thumbs up for Bears, thumbs down for Panthers.

  5. Miami puntpublished at 23:26 GMT 4 January

Miami Dolphins 10-24 New England Patriots

Miami Dolphins QB Quinn Ewers throws back-to-back incompletions and is then sacked, forcing the visitors to punt.

New England will look to extend their lead now.

At 8-9 the Carolina Panthers are just the fifth team to make the NFL play-offs with a losing record for the season - and the first team to do it twice having also done so in 2014.

The Panthers will now host a wildcard game thanks to winning their division, but with sides having much better records having to play on the road, is the current system fair?

Should division winners get home games or should it all be done on season records? Send us your comments and also vote thumbs up if you want to see some changes, or thumbs down if you're happy with the way it is.

Kansas City Chiefs 6-6 Las Vegas Raiders

Shane Buechele has replaced Chris Oladokun at quarterback for the Chiefs and he finds Travis Kelce for five yards.

That's enough to ensure Kelce reaches 13,000 receiving yards, becoming just the third tight end to do so - after Tony Gonzalez (15,127) and Jason WItten (13,046).

Buechele is then sacked on back-to-back plays so Harrison Butker ties it up with a 40-yard field goal.

Los Angeles Chargers 3-13 Denver Broncos

Back-to-back incompletions from Bo Nix in the red zone means the Broncos have to settle for a 26-yard Wil Lutz field goal.

Denver have a two-score lead and are heading for the AFC no.1 seed, but you wouldn't say they are comfortable right now.

A Chargers score could get the nerves going.

  9. touchdown

Touchdown - Eaglespublished at 23:22 GMT 4 January

    Washington Commanders 10-14 Philadelphia Eagles

No starters but Philly can still score short yardage touchdowns - with Tank Bigsby living up to his name by storming into the end zone from a couple of yards out.

That's the Eagles back in front and heading for the second seed in the NFC - which would mean a home tie against the Green Bay Packers as things stand.

  10. touchdown

Touchdown - Patriotspublished at 23:20 GMT 4 January

Miami Dolphins 10-24 New England Patriots

Drake Maye finds Rhamondre Stevenson in the right corner of the endzone for a 15-yard touchdown!

Maye led the Pats on a seven-play, 80-yard drive after that Dolphins interception in the endzone. Now that's how you punish your opponent.

  11. 'Lack of play-off experience among NFC contenders'published at 23:19 GMT 4 January

    Greg Brady
NFL pundit on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

The Eagles and Rams have been to the Super Bowl but there's a lot of inexperience in the NFC, in terms of play-offs and Super Bowls.

Even Green Bay haven't been to the Super Bowl since Aaron Rodgers' third year (2010 season).

  12. Williams picked off!published at 23:15 GMT 4 January

    Detroit Lions 13-0 Chicago Bears

A rare interception thrown by Caleb Williams as the Bears offence continues to stutter - this time he's throwing into the end zone but Detroit's Avonte Maddox muscles out the receiver to get his hands on the ball.

Williams has 23 games without an interception in his first two seasons in the league - an NFL record - but everything is going wrong tonight.

Miami Dolphins 10-17 New England Patriots

Miami QB Quinn Ewers looks to the endzone on 1&10 at the Patriots 13 but is picked off in the endzone!

A huge 35-yard pass interference penalty on the Patriots helped Miami down the field, but the visitors could not take advantage.

Big play from the New England defense.

LA Rams because they have a good team to play against New England

Silence hits SoFi Stadium after a wild couple of plays from the Cardinals sees them hit back as Jacoby Brissett launches a 43-yard touchdown bomb to a wide open Michael Wilson.

The stadium was still stunned from the previous play as Arizona pulled off a fake punt deep in their own half to keep their drive going. You'll notice a lot more fake punts, fourth down attempts and general going for broke tonight as some teams empty the playbook with nothing to lose.

The Seahawks are the strongest in the NFC, but the AFC is open. The Patriots are the obvious choice, but the Ravens have the potential to beat anyone.

    Crispin, Isle of Wight

Baltimore will, of course, have to beat Pittsburgh later in order to snatch a play-off spot off the Steelers. We won't be keeping this live page going for that game too but you can follow the latest score on the BBC Sport website and app, with match details to follow tomorrow morning.

My Denver-loving heart says Broncos will make it (I’m not listening to the head, that’s saying Patriots will) but I fear a repeat of Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks coming out as Champions.

With the Broncos and Patriots taking care of business so far they will remain first and second in the standings - with Denver getting the week off and New England getting a visit from the Chargers.

Houston are locked in at five so will play the winner of Pittsburgh v Baltimore later on tonight, while the Jaguars will host the Bills with Buffalo well ahead and the Chargers losing.

Still time for things to change though...
