    What a game! Absolutely incredible!

  2. Victory formationpublished at 00:45 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

Defensive coordinator Robert Saleh celebrates on the sideline and so he should as his banged up and patched up unit has been excellent tonight.

This victory formation will be extra sweet given this rivalry

  3. Incomplete! Eagles are beatenpublished at 00:44 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

Jalen Hurts fires another pass down the middle but it's broken up!

The pub across the road from me is awfully quiet. Squeaky bum time here in Philly.

  5. Season on the linepublished at 00:43 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

One play for the Super Bowl champs to keep their defence alive. This is play-off football at its best!

  6. Tipped!published at 00:42 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

Wow! The pass is tipped and almost picked off by the Niners! It's fourth down so this one play is the Eagles' season and Super Bowl defence on the line right here.

So Nick Sirianni calls a time out just to add to the drama....

  7. Postpublished at 00:41 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

Jalen Hurts rolls out to the right but has no options so just throws it away to bring up third down and 11 with 48 seconds on the clock.

  8. Postpublished at 00:39 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

DeVonta Smith gets a first down right off the bat with a 10-yard catch. No pressure on Jalen Hurts so he repeats the dose again with the same play almost as Smith moves the chains again.

  9. Two-minute warningpublished at 00:38 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

Right then, sit rep - the ball is on the San Francisco 45 and Philadelphia have a first down. Jalen Hurts and the offence has been off all night but given what's happened so far in the wildcard round you wouldn't bet against them driving down the field and winning this.

The lead is four so only a touchdown will do - which funnily enough may help with clarity of thought, it's full-on four down territory for the champs.

  10. Completepublished at 00:36 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

Trusty tight end Dallas Geodert doesn't drop them though and he converts on fourth down - he's always the first option in those situations and he's showed why.

  11. Postpublished at 00:35 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

AJ Brown races over the middle but drops it! That's on third down so Philly have to now try and convert a fourth and five.

    Huge play coming up.

So then, yet again it's coming down to one final drive to decide who'll win this wildcard game. NOt sure why we expected anything else.

  13. touchdown

    Touchdown - 49erspublished at 00:31 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 23-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

Touchdown San Francisco! And who else but Christian McCaffrey who puts the 49ers back in front.

He's not Brock Purdy's first option but as he has to step up out of the pocket to avoid the pressure then McCaffrey appears in the end zone and takes a diving catch.

Eddy Pineiro misses the extra point though so the lead is just four points with 2:54 left on the clock.

Lovely 10-yard run from Christian McCaffrey to get down to the Philly 10 - he's some player this guy.

  15. Sack chalked offpublished at 00:28 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 17-19 Philadelphia Eagles - fourth quarter

Brock Purdy is swarmed upon by the Eagles pass rush, but it doesn't count as there's a flag down for a hold on 49ers tight end Jake Tonges so San Francisco get a fresh set of downs.

There hasn't been much flow from either team. The 49ers had a few interceptions early on but the Eagles didn't capitalise off them.

It's been a messy game alright and so far it's going in the manner these teams have been playing of late.

The Eagles are leaning entirely on their defence and they lead because of that side of the ball and also because of San Francisco mistakes - specifically those two Brock Purdy interceptions.

And we all know if you win the turnover battle in the play-offs you'll usually win the game - will that hold true?

  18. 'Purdy's got to lead the 49ers down the field'published at 00:24 GMT 12 January

San Francisco 49ers 17-19 Philadelphia Eagles

    Anthony Wootton

These errant shots may come back to bite Brock Purdy.

He's got to lead his team down the field now and he can't make those mistakes.

  19. Get Involved - 'Does anyone on offence want to win'published at 00:20 GMT 12 January

49ers failing to capitalse on their lead. Eagles offense not making the most of what their defence give them. Does anyone on either offense actually want to win.

Jake Elliott isn't making any more mistakes as he drills his effort from just 33 yards to put the hosts back in front.

That's the right call really by Sirianni as if you can't trust this defence who can you trust? Definitely not his offence....
