  1. Tactics: Watch out for Maye's legspublished at 23:49 GMT 8 February

Drake Maye has struggled with passing the ball in the play-offs, admittedly weather conditions in Foxborough and then Denver didn't help, but you can't fault his running ability, as he's gone for an eye-popping 6.13 yards per carry this season.

He's sneaky quick but also strong and elusive, and in both scrambles and designed runs he's come up with some big plays with his legs.

That's the big thing, as 12 of his 16 actual runs in the play-offs have gone for either a first down or a touchdown - he's the only Patriot to score a rushing touchdown in the play-ofs actually.

So that's really something Seattle need to keep an eye on, especially near the goal line or on crucial third or even fourth downs - the Pats aren't scared to call his number.

  2. field goal

Jason Myers is good from 33 yards as Seattle strike first in Super Bowl 60 after an eight-play drive of 55 yards.

A couple of nice plays from Kenneth Walker and Cooper Kupp but also some decent defence from the Pats there to limit Seattle to three points.

It's also good for Seattle to get points on the board though so that's not the worst start for both sides really. The team scoring first has won 38 of 59 Super Bowls if stats are your thing.

The Patriots have come out here and decided that they are going to try and take the football away from Sam Darnold. They have been very aggressive so far.

  4. Third downpublished at 23:46 GMT 8 February

Seattle Seahawks 0-0 New England Patriots - first quarter

Third and seven had been a key play mentioned all week, as Seattle's big weakness has been third down and distance, while the Pats are red-hot on it.

And the Pats cover this one up as again the defensive backs are looking to jump the routes as they definitely sense an interception is on the cards.

Seattle will go for a field goal.

  5. Red zone!published at 23:45 GMT 8 February

Seattle Seahawks 0-0 New England Patriots - first quarter

Nice throw from Sam Darnold and nice catch on the run by Cooper Kupp for 23 yards to get Seattle into the red zone.

They go hurry-up as Kupp bobbled the ball and that may not have stood.

On the first down Darnold has to just throw it away.

Sam Darnold throws a pass out left to AJ Barner but Marcus Jones was right there and probably should have picked that one off!

The Pats kick it away from Rashid Shaheed, who returned the opening kick-off for a touchdown against the 49ers, so smart move.

Sam Darnold trots out and hands the ball off to Kenneth Walker who gets a first down right off the bat.

Not sure why there was a straggler after the flyover formation but that last jet sure had more grunt than the others.

Made the Levi's Stadium shake as it went overhead.

  12. Seattle to have the ball firstpublished at 23:39 GMT 8 February

Seattle Seahawks v New England Patriots (23:30 GMT)

New England win the coin toss and defer so they will kick it off and Seattle will get the ball first in Super Bowl 60.

And watch out if they score first as the Seahawks are 11-0 this season when they open the scoring. Saying that, the Patriots are 5-1 when they go behind in the game this season.

    So, you know, stats....

He doesn't have to in San Francisco though - legend.

We're just waiting for kick-off, and waiting is a theme this week for the players - the build-up seems endless, then there's an extended start and also an extended half-time show.

Whoever can handle it better usually wins...

I don't think a lot of people are giving the Patriots a chance but they are battle-tested.

Drake Maye's ability to throw the ball deep could catch the Seahawks out. They give up a lot of sacks but if they can protect Drake Maye, then they could surprise Seattle.

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye speaking to NBC: "It is a surreal moment coming out here for the first time but we've got to get the win."

On the key to beating such a tough defence: "We have to play our brand of football. We know it's going to be a tough game of football, we have to battle through adversity, play for each other, go out there and have some fun."
